I'd dig some new logs - or some decent repaints.  Shadow log anyone?   :D

I can't really imagine Hasbro bothering to wheeze out another mail-away. They've said they're done with TCW mail-aways for the year, and I can't imagine what they would come up with for TVC.

Blue Snags would be interesting, but I'm not sure really where they could go with it either.

I do love mail-aways, but I could see Hasbro feeling reluctant after the Fett fiasco.

With condition of the card being potentially so important to collectors, I could see them shying away from a Tarkin or slave leia on vintage, just because the card condition would be more important than the figure.

I would rather it were something from clone wars- on a vintage style card. The prequel figures have torqued the purists already, so go ahead and completely cross the bridge. Put a nightsister on a vintage card with some cool artwork.

80's Yak-Face repro on vintage card.

The roar of some die-hard collectors' anger would be worth it.  >:D

The only thing that kills some of these full-on retro ideas (like a straight Blue Snaggletooth vintage recreation, Yakface, etc.), is that the Boba Fett was delivering something that (pretty much) never existed.  Unpainted ones did, but the painted production thing never happened.

Vinyl Caped Jawas did, and in the realm of vintage I don't even consider Blue Snaggle or Yakface as "rare".  They're pretty widely available.  Compared to the Rocket Firing Boba Fett unpainted figures, they're practically pegwarmers.

So I really can't say I'm that into anything retro vintage.

I would dig a new sculpt Blue Snaggle though that was "modern" but had the Vintage details like the KISS boots and a tall/slender sculpt, with a head more like the 3-Pack Takeel figure and less like the Holiday Special character.

Yakface I'd rather see a new sculpt in the basic line.

Now Vlix...  That's interesting.  That's more in line with the Rocket Firing Fett too I think we can all agree.  I'm more an Admiral Screed man myself though.

I'm not that into Droids but even I'd find Vlix kind of cool.  I'd put him in the Cantina happily enough.

Vlix would be fun, but in a way I don't really care about mail-aways.

Speaking of Admiral Screed...he should show up in TCW.  That would be very cool.

*crossing fingers* This has been the one thing I nag Hasbro about at pretty much every event, or business-related opportunity.  So I'll take six.

Having said that... my luck isn't that good. :)
