Would everyone want, I'm guessing, a Vintage reproduction of the character then?

I was wondering what a modern updated Vlix would look like...  Just to fit in more with the line as it is.  It kind of opens up something of a pandora's box for updates though then, but at the same time it'd be interesting regardless.

There's a big part of me would be almost more interested in Vlix being given a maybe little bit crisper sculpt and added articulation.  I've not got a really vested interest in Droids/Ewoks stuff though.

I have zero interest in Vlix.  However, I think that would be an interesting move if they did it.

So it'll be a concept armor white Boba Fett. Hmmm. Wonder how different it'll be from the ones we've already gotten?

I thought the same, especially since we already got him in the TAC line.

Early word I've heard is the picture has the poncho.  I'm hoping if they re-use the existing sculpt, that they include the softgoods poncho for him as that was what I truly missed on the original.  I think it's a neat carded idea regardless though.

Personally, I think it will be the most recent Fett figure we have, painted white.   When ESB was in production, they made the first Fett costume all white.  There's ton's of photos of it.  But they thought that his costume should be different than the Stormtroopers, so Joe Johnston HAND-PAINTED the costume, dings, dents and all, and the final Fett we know was created.

Very cool mail in.

I think it ties really well to the Rocket Firing figure.  It's itneresting, kind of a theme thing going too.  You could almost do your own little Fett carded collection on vintage cards alone and enjoy it if you're a Fett fanatic.

It's cool they are working their way through the Fett decos, much like Medicom did with Kubricks

I'd like to eventually see a Kenner decoed modern Fett, not a rerelease of a vintage sculpt like they just did

Meh, it's something we weren't expecting at least.  I"m not all that thrilled with it but maybe the figure itself will rock?

They really milk Mandos. But I'd sooner send off for that then the rocket firing Fett (which I should send off for, just to resell someday... :P)

For this figure, they got all excited about "beach towel".  Apparently (if someone knows proto-fett history, please chime in), when they did the 1978 screen test with the white Fett suit, he had a star wars beach towel hanging on his belt.  Hasbro is trying to pick a sg material to replicate that look.

Other than that it sure sounded like it would be one of the existing Fett sculpts.  NOT the McQuarrie figure though, as that was a concept figure and this is the prototype Fett.  Like someone else said, basically the movie Fett armor in blacdk and white.

Early word I've heard is the picture has the poncho.

They were non-comittal on the poncho - at first, it sounded like he may have a poncho but later it sounded like they got that wrong and he won't have one.  Remains to be seen I guess.

That's great though since he's sort of new then too...  He'll go neat with the McFigures in a row kind of.  Like the evolutionary chart of man going from primate to walking erect, haha.  Boba could make the ultimate Evolutions pack if they'd do a decent film version of the kid at this point.

Yeah, it's sort of, 'Ok.'  Not overly exciting.
