Unfortunately no pricing error. Picked up two SFLS BP's, vintage landspeeder and found Bom Vimdin(finally) at a target I don't shop at often. Had to leave Luke's Taun Taun behind. $24.99 for all three items. $24.99 for luke's TT also. $10.99 for Bom. Have to go back next week for the Taun Taun. Happy Hunting everyone.

I picked up this set today and it's great.  I'll always take more of those Hoth Rebels, I'm nuts for Han so this is a nice new variant, and the new TaunTaun is swell.

$25 for this set feels pretty fair for a new beastie and two figures... and really shames the solo Luke TaunTaun at the same price.

For those that bought the set, is that little scanner/greeblie the Hoth Rebel is holding new or recycled?  It looks familiar , but I can't place it...

Not having the set, but just going off memory of the pic, it's the one from the Saga Han Solo, K-3PO, and I think maybe one or two other figures had it?  Or maybe not.  :-\

It's not that Han/K3PO scanner, it's a handheld thingy - my camera is recharging or I'd take a pic.   :-\

I'm not sure if it's new - but I figured out where I've seen it before - it was originally supposed to come with him when he was supposed to be a single carded figure -

Ah I know what you mean now...  I believe that item hasn't come out with anyone.  It wasn't with either Hoth Rebel or in any multi-pack that I recall.

Cool and kind of odd that they finally included it.

I believe that greeblie is a controller to remotely fire one of the anti-vehicle laser cannons.

I always thought it was some kind of range finder thing.

Weird.  Appreciated though, but very weird.  It's funny how it largely went forgotten till now.  Good memory Jeff.

So a local collector on Yakface is freaking out because he called a few stores in the area and they told him this set isn't being ordered by any stores and isn't in the nearest distribution center (apparently in Dallas). I think they were just pulling his leg. Which reminds me, I've been seeing a lot of online freakout for these new exclusives though and I'm not really understanding it. Maybe it's just because we haven't seen anything new in so long?

I've fielded several emails from folks being told that this item is "discontinued", when obviously that isn't the case. I think that Target's system must say "no longer available" or something along those line if the store hasn't received their first allotment of product and they don't have a location on the floor or in the back.

I used the some DCPI searches I found on rebelscum to locate these in my area, and went and didn't find them on the shelf. Someone was good enough to go pull these out of the back for me, and within 20 minutes I had all three of these sets. They are expensive, but I look at being a drought in star wars till the end of january, so why not get them now.

Scored one of these to keep MIB, one to open and one for Captain Piet this morning.

The endcap had been set up, but nothing had been put out yet, so I asked an employee to pull both assortments and was able to grab everything I needed.

Glad to have the last of the 2011 Target exclusives out of the way... (unless the Villains & Sith 2-packs hit)

I think telling customers "it's discontinued" is just some standard thing to shut you up.  It happens so routinely you'd think it was in the Target/WM Employee handbook.

the minute I get this set, I am popping off Han's head and replace it with the Hood Up and repaint it.

Yeah, the hood down version is a bit hmm.  Oh, well.  I still have the Saga version from like '03 or something that actually rides Taun Tauns good.
