This is neat, but another of the things that make me just wonder why they're going with this when Hasbro did one already.  I guess I'm maybe short-changing how the 1:6 line is "limited".  I guess they can do almost anything so re-doing stuff is alright.

I'm just more wow'd by the Yoda Hut by comparison I guess, because it's brand new/unseen in the scale.

cool.  it looks like it is going to be the original 1977 version of the giant lizard.  Quite a step up from the bizarre 1/6th version Hasbro made in the 1999 TPM version  ???

The image revealed today is pretty slick...  Almost a still from the original trilogy it seems.  Really detailed...  Hasbro's isn't as nice, I just wonder who is going to shell out for this?  It's gotta cost an arm and a leg.

That Dewback will be fantastic.  Sure it is much better than Hasbro's.  Then again Hasbro did not charge $200 which this thing will probably be if not more!  I am sure the Sandtrooper will be another $125.  I am looking forward to seeing a gallery of pictures and drooling at them regardless.

$300 bucks for an in scale based statue.  Zero articulation, aww c'mon Sideshow.  Looks nice, but pass.

I'd rather have Hasbro's articulated version than a 50lb statue of a dewback.  It does look sweet, but $300 and no articulation...?  No thanks.

Imagine if they'd done this as a plastic poseable figure though?  I think $300 would be a pipedream.

I think they did a wonderful job with what it is.  However, I just can't pay that price regardless.  I am surprised they made it a statue to.  The trooper looks good and the accesories are great. But I will just have to happy with Hasbro's 3 3/4 versions.

If it were me, I'd probably just buy Hasbro's...  I prefer a "figure" too, at least in this case.  Same with Hasbro's Taun-Tauns, etc.  A statue is cool, it's much more detailed looking,  but I am more into the action figure aspect than a statue.

Even if i had wanted it, learning that it is a statue would have made me pass anyway. And why is the stormtrooper so expensive. He seems high too.

All the extra gear.  He comes with basically every weapon you could arm him with, an extra grey pauldron (further raising the debate of whether grey exists in the movies or not.  I'm going with yes since SS tends to catch details nobody else can), etc.  I think he's an "ultimate Sandtrooper", short of having a black pauldron so he's just a grunt.
