Outside of Padme I am loving this wave, especially Quin and anakin! The Padawan buck is long overdue and is really welcome, I agree they should crank out some ROTS Padawans with this, they can also update the Lucas kid.

It appears they retooled Mauls saber, look at the blade flares. I was hoping Qui-Gon would get a retooled saber and head, maybe the production version will. Hasbro has managed to something I thought was not possible they made EP! feel exciting. Seriously the figures are more exciting than the film, even the Nemodian looks great!

Maul's lightsaber is still short.  They have only made his lightsaber correct size once with the Sith Lord Maul in 2000.

Is the remote smoking a cigarette now that it's finished or is it supposed to sag like that?  ???

Took me a couple seconds, but nice one.  ;)

Definitely hoping for a closer look at Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan and Darth Maul.

Qui-Gon looks very much like the Evolutions figure, but there were some things about the face sculpt with that figure that might bear revisiting.  And overall that figure looked slightly out of proportion.

Then, there's Obi-Wan.  While Hasbro may have taken another shot at Obi-Wan in the TLC RED line, there was something that seemed a little off about that one, too.  I hope this version gets tweaked to the point that it's really impressive.

Darth Maul really seems to need the most attention.  And unfortunately we couldn't get a good look at the figure in that slide.  Hopefully we'll see something a little more high res in the near future.

As for the rest of this wave?  Generally, I'm pretty happy with what I see.  Queen Amidala, Anakin and Daultay Dofine all look pretty cool.  And the Anakin body would definitely make for some good Jedi younglings in the future.  Quinlan Vos is a nice addition, considering he is sourced to one of the scenes in Mos Espa.  The pic of the Battle Droid was a little sketchy, and I'd like to see more.

Sidious looks a little big and bloomy, unfortunately.  A Sidious/Senator Palpatine would be very cool though.  And I'm wondering, is that a molded hood next to the figure?

Now are these figures going to be on the vintage cardbacks for the new Maul cardback?  Originally they said vintage for the Wal-Mart wave and now it is the Maul cardback instead.  I hope it's vintage just because I'd like the main guys Maul, Kenobi, Jinn, and Anakin to be on the vintage cardbacks.  Yes, I am being selfish!

I'm crossing my fingers that Hasbro goes absolutely insane on this Maul figure - ball-jointed hips, elbows, the works. The snarling-looking face looks awesome, too!

Quinlan Vos was definitely an unexpected choice. I'll definitely be picking it up, because I hate the CP versions so much. In the display galleries you can even see that his hair is a separate-molded piece! Kudos on that, Hasbro. ;D

Sidious is a very nice-looking figure. What's that black bundle next to him in the slide picture?

If this is the new Qui-Gon he doesn't look new at all to me.

edit:  oops, just realized this is probably from the blu-ray set isnt it?

Yeah, that is the blu-ray one. The head looks better than the evolutions one (I know it is the same head).   I am hoping they (hasbro) add BJ hips on both TVC Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan.

Why are they showing Clone Wars vehicles on the back and not TVC merchandise?

Better choices would have been the B-Wing, Y-Wing, and Trench Run sets. (exclusive or not)

It is just a mockup, but maybe another reason is that those will be long gone before the first TPM wave comes out.

You can also make out that Qui-Gon is VC75. We'll see if that hold true.
