Meh.  Not a big fan of it, but I'll still buy a jersey.

I kinda like it but I wish the jet were red, not the leaf.  I've seen some red deco jet fighters from Canada and they look sweet.

Still not loving it, but it'll do and thank goodness it's new and they were smart enough not to hold onto the old stuff.

Definitely not digging the hat:

I'll wait for the Titleist hats to come out, probably next summer, with the logo on the side and much less prominent.  It'd be really cool if they went with the secondary logo with the crossed sticks on that hat.

I think I'm in a distinct minority locally on the logo though and that's a good thing.

Ok who lives in or near an OriginL 6 city and wants to go to a game with me this season?  I am starting my NHL tour this year.  Wanna buy tickets before all the teams get so good their tickets get too pricey.

Oh an it helps if it is a weekend game so check your schedule. My goal is to hit every arena in 10 years.  So about 3 games a season.

I'm near some of the Original 6 sort of Paul, but Pittsburgh obviously ain't one of them.  Going to look forward to you coming here for your game though. :)

Looking at the schedule, I may just have to pick games I can make. It was a good thought on the original 6 plan, but finding weekend away games that don't conflict with previous plans is hard enough.

I know someone in Winnipeg that has season tickets.

I have season tickets in Tampa. I can give you a heads up on what hotels are within walking distance and what deals are available when you are ready to get a tan and have a world class hockey experience in the same weekend. Our new owner is putting 35 million into upgrades to the arena. From what I have seen so far it will be very nice. A new party deck will provide a breathtaking outdoor view of the downtown area, new seats, and a great atmosphere.

 :(

No matter how hard you work, or what you acheive, things can still be so bad for some people that they feel like there's no way out.  He lived a life a guy like me can only dream of, on one hand.  On the other he had demons haunting him that he probably thought others couldn't understand, and that he couldn't handle anymore.  I feel really bad.

Yeah, such a terrible thing to read about.  From what I read, it appeared he was getting control of his demons, but I guess they snuck through again.  RIP.

What the hell is happening...  first Boogaard, then Rypien, now Belak.  Three relatively young NHL enforcers, all dead.  Just crazy.   :-\

Speaking of deaths: Pavol Demitra, Ruslan Salei, Josef Vasicek, Maxim Shuvalov, Jan Marek, Karlis Skrastinsh... all killed in a Russian plane crash today. These are the few I heard about. Might be more. RIP guys.

Unreal.  Sounds like it was the ENTIRE team on that plane, plus four of their prospects, plus the coaching staff and trainier.  Only one guy survived and he's got burns on 80% of his body.  :-\

Man, what a bad off-season.  This is really going to affect a lot of guys.  I know the Wild were already planning a tribute to Boogaard, I wonder if they will do something similar for Demitra since he played a few years here too.  :(

Any crash is tragic, and that one just hits home more since it's such a blow to the hockey world...  Very sad.   :'(
