My 2 top picks would be Lt. Sheckill and maybe a Cantina alien like Jeff's Tizzvizit pick.

Or maybe replace Sheckill with the white suited Snaggletooth from Jabba's place...  I'd love to finally get him done.

Otherwise my picks would be human goons from ANH:SE and ROTJ because we really need more human goons.  I don't know that many agree, but I'd at least like the dude that shoots Luke's hand at some point.  :'(

By the way, we've hased out how we're going to do this still...  We have a pretty slick idea I think, courtesy of our JD Polling guru, and so look for that announcement in the near future.

So, because I'm a bit of a math nerd, I spent the night stopping by a whole bunch of Star Wars websites to try to beat Hasbro and Star Wars Insider to the punch.

Yep, I pulled all the top ten lists I could find, applied Hasbro's #1 gets 10 points, #10 gets 1 point formula and the following is what I came up using the available results so far...

18 sites are included in the summary below:  Jedi Defender, Rebelscum, Han's Hideout, Yak Face, Bantha Skull, Jedi Temple Archives, Collector's Cantina, Droids and Ewoks, Echo Base News, Jedi Insider, Sir Steve's Guide, Snowtroopers, Jedi News, Mousedroid, Sandtroopers, SW Collector, Lichtgeschwindigkeit.de, and Yoda's News.

NOTE:  this is not scientific or official by any stretch, just one stat nerd's attempt to figure out who the top twenty will be for the pure speculation/fun of it.  ;)

With that, I give to you The unofficial Fans' Choice Top 20 (so far):

105   Jocasta Nu
72   Toryn Farr
56   Sergeant Doallyn
50   Darth Plagueis
45   Sim Aloo (Imperial Dignitary)
38   Cliegg Lars
31   Nikto Guard (Vintage Deco)
31   Saelt-Marae (a.k.a. Yak Face)
30   Nute Gunray (RotS)
27   Mosep
24   Tzivvzt
23   Captain/Admiral Piett
20   Guri
18   Princess Kneesaa
16   Mara Jade Skywalker
15   Joruus C'baoth
15   Noghri Warrior
14   Ackmena
14   Jaxxon
13   Fozec

Please see the updated results below!

Nice to see Gunray in the Top 20, he'll be getting my vote if you're correct! :P

How many sites are left that we don't have the final results for yet?

I know we don't for Imperial Shipyards and SWActionNews, any others?

I forgot to vote, do you think Hasbro will re-open the balloting for me?

Does Toryn Farr have some kind of cool EU backstory that would cause fans to want her? Because I am scratching my head over that one...seems like an incredibly boring "action" figure.

I'm not even going there with Jocasta, I still think people are just voting for her to irritate Hasbro.

Doallyn would be the bomb.

There are very few characters with speaking lines in the OT with speaking lines that have not been made...I think that sort of the reason for Jocasta Nu and Cliegg Lars as well

A lot of people clearly and legitimately want to see Jocasta Nu made, and they know because of Hasbros own bias that this is probably the only way to get her.

I'd say false on that...there are some people that want Jocasta made...not a lot.  And I'd say a large reason for her being so high on the list above is that some people are way more active on other forums polls.  Larger polls such as ours and RS show that she is really not that popular

SWAN's results will be in their next podcast, I'm not sure about Shipyards poll status.  I never saw anything that Galactic Hunter ran a poll.  Nothing on their front page that I saw and their forums are down...  not sure if anyone else is out there.  Cold be a few "general" toy sites maybe?

If anyone sees more poll results get posted out there, let me know and I will update the scorecard.

As far as I know there is also Action Figure Insider and The Toyark that have yet to post their results. And also The Allspark which has.

That's kind of a bummer.  I'd buy a Jocasta Nu, but I don't see where polls ahead of Toyrn Farr, who has been parked on fan lists forever.

Looking at Imperial Shipyards and Toyarks votes it looks like they're results won't affect this list much. They may push Darth Malgus into the Top 20 but that's about it. I wouldn't be surprised if Action Figure Insider forgot to enter their list. They only had six votes in the first two days their poll was up then nothing. SWAN's vote could shift those last couple slots.

Jeff,

Thanks for doing this.

I'm still not sure what action features Jocasta has, but I'd love Toryn for more Hothie goodness. Anyways, nice to see where it's at.
