MTV's "Beavis & Butt-Head" reboot
« on: October 27, 2011, 06:24 PM »
Can't believe nobody's talking about this. Well then, I'll get it started. Really looking forward to the premiere tonight. I just hope they show some videos and it's not all "Jersey Shore" and "16 & Pregnant," although Beavis and Butt-Head's take on them will be dead-on.
If you're looking to discuss the show, we will be liveblogging it over at http://www.phgeek.com/. Pre-show starts at 9:45 p.m. EST with the premiere kicking off at 10. We look forward to seeing you there.

I haven't watched it yet, but me and all my mindless teen buddies back in the 90's enjoyed vegging out on this show from time to time.

Watched it again with my wife last night -- she had been watching "Practice Privates" or some other chick show the other night (huh, huh, huh) -- and it held up well to a second viewing. Anybody know how many episodes we're due?

I enjoyed Beavis & Butt-head 18 years ago, but I have no desire to watch the new show.  It's not like MTV has any music videos on for them to comment on.
This is the way.

I have spoken.

Well, they had videos and it was like they never left so, perhaps, you give it a try?

For the first episode, did it end right after Beavis and Butthead were in the lunch room with Stewart?  It went to commercial, and then my recording ended.  It seemed like there should be another segment, and the preceding show ran 5 or 10 minutes into the beginning of my recording.  Happened both times I recorded it (tried a second time thinking I missed the last part the first time).
