Of course, you know you'll never find the Ewok set. There will be a ton of pilots however.

Also, is that other hood with the teeth for Teebo?  yeah it is.  What are the two looks from?  one from the movies, but what is the other source?
RotJ also. He wears the full hood during the battle. Easiest to see next to Logray when the ewoks first show up.

They'll do the Yavin Rebel Transporter/Geonosian Speeder  packing ratio. What was that, 1 transporter per 15 Geonosian speeders?

Great high-res pics at Yoda's News.

It's funny.  With each new pic, I'm loving the Ewok set more and the Pilot set less.  R5-D4 with a new name?  Lame.  Still re-using the old Pilot Luke body?  Lame.   Ewok set is awesome though, definitely in for multiples of that one.

couldn't agree with you any less.  I was in for 1 of the pilots and two of the ewoks, but with these new picks I am considering a third ewok set now!

The Ewok set is a clear winner...

Those pics are still in the "prototype" stage of things on the pilots, as I can confirm that the one pilot I have seen doesn't look THAT bad, but I'm still tired of the Luke bodies being used.  The Alliance isn't made up of entirely short pilots...  One or two, fine, but there's barely any average-height guys.  There's too short and too tall.  Not a lot of in-between.  Time for them to get that average-height one out there in good numbers.

I'd have also liked to have seen them take Porkins' Astromech and do something to it to make it unique...  It's not seen below the body so a slight deco change like some body striping could've happened, along with red leg marks right?  Make something nice and different.

I like the Pilots to get them, but at this point I'm down to one set of them.  $'s too tight to spend where I don't want want to, or to spend on fixing figures Hasbro half-assed like these guys.

Here is a side-by-side of Porkin's droid and the TVC R5-D4. While similar, there are distinct differences.

Differences for sure, but if the droid's body is a relatively clean slate from the perspective of source material I'd have preferred significant differences to those I guess.  :-\

Then again I've always said droids are probably like cars, and there's exact duplicates as well as slight differences and stuff.

Thats pretty ridiculous but not surprised. DC Direct is price gouging with their deluxe Arkham Asylum line, i am sure other companies will follow. I really have respect for Marvel Select and their reasonable prices.

I'm definitely digging the Ewok set too, despite having always hated the furry little turds in general.  What's next - getting excited over an SA Jar Jar?  Kudos to Hasbro for the added variety with the various hoods and such.  I assume more than a few of us will be buying a couple sets just to mix and match with these and do some Ewok army building.  My excitement over the pilots is rather tempered though, likely due to the oversaturation of them in recent years.  Porkins is too skinny as well.  I'll probably pick one up though.
Softgoods suck.  Almost as much as the Prequels.

I don't know. An SA Jar Jar could be pretty cool. He is one of the last major characters not to have an SA version.

Never fear!  An SA Jar Jar shall be here by the end of the year.

There'll be an SA Jar Jar in a matter of weeks...  SDCC set, remember?  Anyone?

Is he really that easy to forget?  Yikes.  Hope not many of him make it to the pegs!  :D
