Not to mention nobody knew they were married, did they?  Maybe her parents, if even that.  Obi-Wan didn't even figure out Anakin was the father till he was off to kill Anakin.

To say nothing of Anakin's shame and anguish over her death - remember Palpy told Anakin that he killed her.  Nooooooooooooooooo!   >:D

Maybe Anakin watched it on tv?
