K-Mart Vintage Ewok/AT-ST Driver 2-Packs
« on: July 10, 2012, 10:58 PM »
Bump...  Seems like the Curto/Burns collector podcast maybe is lockign down where the head variant AT-ST Pilot we saw is going to turn up...  Vintage 2-packs of AT-ST Drivers and Ewok Hijackers...  Perfect complements to the ROTJ AT-ST.

We've seen one of the AT-ST Pilots and it's a new head, 100%.  Haven't seen the other, but I'm betting it's new too.

The harnesses are a new color too, not sure on new helmets.  Hopefully.

Down for at least two of the AT-ST sets and one Ewok set... then after the TRU Ewok pack, I think I've got all the Ewoks I need

I'm definitely down for both sets, plus a bunch of multiples of those AT-ST drivers. Looks like Hasbro added holsters, which is great.

So far, so good.  Of course, it would be nice to know where they will be and how much they will charge us for them.  I see they have the "special action figure set" on the side - hopefully that doesn't mean they are headed to that assortment at Target because $25 for two ewoks will sting.  :-X

Great sets...  what's the price though?

Curious to see the headsculpts too, as by all accounts they're "accurate" to the two specific guys that played those AT-ST Drivers. ;)  I couldn't tell by our loose photo how closely they resemble them unfortunately.

Hoping the price is decent so I could nab an extra AT-ST Pilot set without feeling like I just had a prostate exam.  The Ewoks will definitely sting if they're more than $20.  Hell, $20 will sting a lot too.

Yeah, sure,  Hasbro can add holsters to everyone...except vintage Rebel Fleet Trooper. (Cheap shot of the day.)

I'm always mind-boggled at all the figures that have them and the RFT didn't...  Every RFT had them it seemed.  Hell, even were holding them down while running.  But not the figure.

Snaggletooth even gets a gangsta waistband holster.  Come on man!

Obviously they left off the holdster off so you would have an excuse to buy more once they add it on.  Duh.  Just like this AT-ST driver got a slight upgrade (new headsculpt, new holster), so will the eventual RFT repack.  ;)

You know, I can't tell if you're busting balls or serious because I can laugh at the idea of it, and see it happen, all at the same time.

Oochee got ret-conned?

Just read this post from Matt Booker on FB:  "WUNKA is the official name of the Ewok Glider pilot as played by Felix Silla - as revealed on The ForceCast a while ago after a Jimmy Mac McInerney investigative report mate"  dunno who he is but is sounds like he knows what he is talking about here
