2013 SDCC Exclusive 6" Fett w/Carbonite Block

Is it just me, or does anyone else think this thing is very weak?  The colors are off, the belt bags are huge and look like they are brand new.  The belt looks like it just goes straight across...even the vintage figure had the belt at a slight angle that gives the character some swagger.  I just think it's terribly dull, and not very accurate.  I can't believe that they didn't nail Fett 100% as it seems it would be one of the top 5 purchases for most adult fans.

This figure seriously has me reconsidering collecting this line.

Also agree, the price is pretty unreasonable... $45 is very steep.  I think $20's overpriced on the figures themselves though.  They're $15 at best.  And this to me is $25 or $30 maybe.  It's a con exclusive, I'm sure that's playing into it somewhat, but still that's way overpriced.  $25-$30 is where I think this needed to be...  That said I think it'll still probably sell out, and if by some miracle it's widely available I think it'll still do well.

6" figures do look nice though, but I'm still passing on this line...  This set ALMOST makes me wanna buy it though.

I think the price is on target for this scale and for it involving 100% new tooling. If this was a repaint of an existing figure I would agree though.

Maybe as an exclusive but the block is solid, and being charged what a full figure would run?

I didn't take packaging into account and should've but still...  I just see it as a little overpriced.  Not by double, but not good.  I think it's neat...  I think it's a good presentation.

I hate the way Hasbro ran their exclusives booth last year. You had to be at their booth at an unannounced 2am to get a ticket to line up to buy from them. Since I'm only there Saturday there is no way I'm going to get a chance to get any exclusives. So I'm pretty much saying F-U Hasbro and your over priced exclusives!

well of the all the 6" black series figures, this boba fett even as an exclusive is one I'd love to have along with a Stormtrooper and Vader.  We'll just have to see how they all shake out.
