But it should be Vader personally hunting the Jedi down.

If I read things correctly, Rebels is like 14 years after ROTS... maybe Vader is just bored with it at this point?  Sure, the first few years after ROTS he was probably tracking and killing Jedi, tracking and killing Jedi, over and over every day.  But after 14 years?  I'd like to think he upgraded to larger scale evil projects by then... ;)

The Ghost AND The Phantom are also apparently anti-Imperial vessels of some sort or another.

Wow, I'm digging the old school troop transport that they showed.  Gotta dig that thing out again.
Climbed a mountain & never came back. I will not quit & I always fight back
From this moment for all my life. What could I say? Was born to be this way. And what could I say?  Just livin' for today

It IS cool to see that.  I always thought that vehicle was cool, and still wish that it would have been part of my vehicle collection way back when.

But the inclusion of the Imperial Troop Transport DOES bring one thing to mind.  Is the REBELS team doing it because it works in the context of the new series?  Or is it something that Gary Kurtz voiced a concern about in an interview that he did within the past couple of years?  He said that he became concerned about the future of Star Wars because it seemed to become a vehicle for driving the toy business.  I hope it's not something that cynical.

I think it's partially a nod to older fans (Hey, look, we're including a toy you had as a kid, updated, because we dig you!), and possibly toy marketing if they even make it of course, but I also think there's an element of the designers on the show liking that design (their own nostalgia for it) and using it...  I like the MLC-3, personally, and believe it's a totally plausible design that could've worked as an in-universe thing (some of the mini-rigs, not so much), and so I've incorporated it as a "real" thing, into my little Star Wars world.

The Stormtrooper Transport seems like that to me...  It may not even be made a toy at this point.  It may also suck given the current state of vehicles in this line, and that this one appears to be a big bigger and better than the original actually.  It'll be interesting to see how many NEW vehicle designs they incorporate into this.  I didn't get that sense too much from Clone Wars, aside from Clone colors, but that was just as much ROTS as TCW.

The more that comes out about this show the more I start spazzing about how good it could be.

Hah, fun description.  I kinda like the idea of a droid telling everyone to basically F off though.  :)

Should be an interesting figure given the design.

Shouldn't expect any better with Filloni involved.

Figure looks neat and a fit for realistic.  I like the cobbled design and the colors.  It has a 70's vibe to it.  I like the idea of older tiny Astromechs in themselves and the "It's a cat if r2's a dog" analogy.

New guy revealed in USA Today named Kanan:

http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/tv/2014/02/11/freddie-prinze-jr-star-wars-rebels-first-look/4802651/

First, Freddie Prinze Jr.?  I thought he died in the same plane Dave Coullier did, but thankfully he's here and voicing a pretty interesting character.  A "gunslinger" and "cowboy Jedi"?

I'm intrigued.  I was wondering if they'd dip into Jedi who survived as being core organizers of the Rebellion.  It really makes me wonder if Yoda or Kenobi will somehow surface in all this?  Maybe not OFF their respective planets, but someone will come see them?
