I've bought zero figures from the Black Series. Never seen Padme. The rest leave me cold at $10.

Tellin ya Luke is beyond a worthy pick up.  Biggs I think is a must get too but I think the heads paint leaves a lot to be desired.  I'm seeing Padme more if you need one.

Not sure where to put this, so I'll stick it here - I've started hearing reports from quite a few folks (including the locals here in MN) that Target is doing it's annual Post-Christmas "price exploring".

So far we've seen reports of:
- Saga Legends as low as $5.69 and as high as $7.59, depending on the store
- Mission Series as low as $8.99 and as high as $10.99, depending on the store
- 3.75" Black Series completely clearanced out at some stores or price-hiked to $10.99 at others
- 6" Black Series as low at $18.99 or as high as $21.89 at some stores.

Target is usually pretty consistent from store-to-store, except when they go on these Spring price exploring adventures.  It always seems to normalize itself by summer resets though...

Jeff, do you see a connection with the higher pricing being in more affluent areas?

Not really.  Typically when Target does this type of thing here in MN, they choose stores across the state that have similar traffic/sales numbers to try to normalize the data they are collecting.

Ah, ok - thanks.

I think I've seen this a time or two in the past (I believe back in 2010 because I remember seeing armies of TVC 4-LOM and Dengar for $9.99 at some Target stores, $10.99 at others - or something like that), but not to this detail.  I was never able to see any real correlation with which stores had higher pricing than others.

I saw the saga legends 5 poa figures at the gift shop outside Star Tours for $10.95 today! So yeah, there are some pretty wild fluctuations out there.

The Targets around here (Columbus, OH) are pretty consistent except for the store near OSU (Lennox), where figures are a dollar more all year.

Picked up Vizam and Merumeru at WM this morning. Guess my area just skipped wave 2 entirely.

Hopefully Wave 2 gets skipped... If not, Waves 3 and later might not really get distributed until Fall at this rate.

Wave 2 hit here in fairly solid numbers at K-mart actually and wound up selling out everywhere it hit.  I was a little surprised.  Wave 3 is hitting at a trickle, but it's hitting.  All I see hanging around KM now is an Anakin and an R2-D2 which I may pick up for in a Jedi Fighter or something.

I too am in the Minneapolis crew with Jess. I do see a trend of higher prices in more affluent areas. Our western metro suburbs have targets, with noticeably higher prices across the board. There might be a higher priced suburb in town were this does not follow suit, but I have seen plenty of evidence of differing prices in correlation with higher property values.

I just looked at the wave 2 case assortment- yeah, it's nice it was skipped here. This area managed to burn off the Biggses and Anakins (mostly), so we didn't need any more.

Finally scored Darth Plagueis, Vizam and Mace Windu thanks to a store visit.  Not overly enthused that it was the Disney store and they're charging $10.95 per figure, but it's much more preferable to places like Walgreens at $12.95 per figure, or the ridiculous prices that are being charged online for a figure like Plagueis.
