Does the Emperor Get Haircuts?
« on: August 2, 2013, 07:07 PM »
Like, seriously, I know we're to just accept that Han never changes clothes from Hoth to Jabba's Palace basically, but what about simple things like haircuts.  Who cuts the Emperor's hair?  Does he have a barber like on the Enterprise?  Is it awkward?

It seems like a really petty use of the force to just stop your hair from growing and keeping it perfect.

Is he particular, or picky?  Does he have a supercuts?

There are so many mundane questions for the Star Wars universe that haven't been answered.

If George doesn't get a wrap on the knuckles from the mouse that's possible.

Is Vader's meditation chamber also a toilet...I just assumed so.

What do they use for t.p. on Tatooine, there's no trees.

How can Chewbacca, the Ewoks and other creatures have names they seemingly cannot pronounce in their languages?

There's a Robot Chicken where they discuss the Emperor getting a haircut?  Seriously?

I ASSumed on tatooine Toilet Paper's imported.

Then again Star Wars would make you think nobody takes a dump along with not changing their clothes.  Only women change clothes, sometimes to a highly unnecessary extent.

I've got many stupid questions about Star Wars.  Every time I watch it I think of more.

Why do we barely see anyone drink or eat?  If that Death Star briefing was held at my work everyone would have had a latte and a scone...or at least some Lucky Charms.

Brought to you by the folks at General Mills.  ;)

I think people drink blue milk and eat fruit, but definitely pass on the death sticks.

Which person at the briefing was the Facilities Manager? Judging from the polished floors, they run a tight ship, except for the monsters in the waste disposal system problem (maybe someone else's department).

Inaccurate.  He'd never let a filthy alien touch him under the new order's regime. :P

Wow.  I missed this, but at least I know I'm in good company thinking along these lines.

The speciesism of the Empire is still EU to me. But wait, this topic is EU.

I think Palpatine loved all the peoples of the galaxy so much that he didn't risk their lives in war, so he created clone troopers...choosing human clones because people would think he was a bigot if the cannon fodder were copies of non-humans.

How is that EU?  We never see anything buy humans serving the Empire in the flicks.  They also don't seem to tolerate women or non-caucasians if you're tossing out the EU.   :P
