Hmmm.  Two snowspeeder pilots in successive waves?  To me that definitely says there's a snowspeeder on the way.  My guess is that with the state of vehicles at retail, it's probably going to be a TRU exclusive.  Maybe that would include a new Wes Janson (he was offered in an Evolutions pack, IIRC) if they want to offer up Wedge's snowspeeder?

That also had me thinking. Why Wedge, and then Dack? We'll see I guess.

It's pretty safe bet that it's another shot at the snowspeeder. From the infamous "list"

SW EPV SNOWSPEEDER WITH LUKE A1882

Weird though getting Luke's again as that is what we got in 2010 in both SOTDS and vintage packaging

I suspect all those vehicle with figures on that list (that one, A-wing with Han, Crab Droid with Dooku, etc) are all part of the cancelled A'mpt line.

Since they have the "A" asst. letter designation, that says to me that they are newer product.

Agreed I've been thinking about that speeder and awing since the listing.  Figure names maybe placeholders?  I'd love a good Wedge Snowspeeder and a McQuarrie AWing. :)

Yes, newer as in after 2012. The Yoda packaging stuff had the "A" also. And the numbers on all of the vehicle with figures on the list are lower than the Black Series/Vader packaging products, meaning they were originally planned for release before them.

Awesome to hear of new assortment break-downs again. Even better to get more solid conformation of new figures. Can't wait.

-  Wedge Antilles [Snowspeeder Pilot] (x2)
- Darth Vader [Episode III] (x2)
- Ree-Yees (x2)
- Sergeant Doallyn (x2)
- AT-RT Driver (VC46 repack) (x2)
- Republic Trooper (VC113 repack) (x2)

They wouldn't confirm the Vintage repacks for me, but this is the list of new figures for this wave.  ReeYees and Doallyn looked great!  Vader is vader, but nice.  Wedge is not all that different from snowspeeder Dak/Luke so a little boring to me I guess.

Hasbro also said they weren't really sure which wave would hit first.  This could be wave 4 or Wave 5 depending on how things get out of the warehouses.

I'm excited for that whole wave.  Great case assortment if those shake out too.  All things, other than Vader, that I'd like more than one of too.

Just realized I took about twice as many 3.75" pics as 6" (probably because I LOVE 3.75" and am not collecting 6" :P).

Anyway... working on 3.75" pics now.  So pretty:

The veins and skin texture on Ree Yees are all kinds of badass...  That's detail.  I hope the paintjob winds up doing it justice.  That's where cutbacks have hurt the line the most...  A weaker paintjob doesn't do the complex sculpts justice these days.

I loved how they pulled that off.

His eye stalks are nothing short of hyper detailed, if not a tad creepy.  :-\  Really shows what kind of stuff in the line can be improved upon.  Ree Yees was the height of 1998 toys really.  He REALLY wasn't that good though looking at what levels of detail they can put into a toy now.  That's impressive stuff, really just artistically speaking.

If you appreciate scuplts, you have to love that.  That's detail.

Ree Yees looks awesome! If the final figure is on-par with Vizam in terms of paint, I'll be pleased.
