6" Black Series Store Finds and Recent Purchases

That reminds me...did we ever get any more info on the next Walgreens exclusive figure out of sdcc? Wasn't it supposed to be a tweaked Vader or Emperor?

I am sure the answer will come as a complete surprise to you - Walgreens' toy buyer Steven Anne said on Twitter, "9/4/2015. That is all." 

So you'll have to wait a few more weeks to find out if the rumored 6" Emperor Palpatine with force lightnin is true or not...

Nice score, Nick. My area Walgreens only carry the shampoo bottle figures.  No 4", no 6" despite having space for them.

I guess I'll have to wait until September 4th

Picked up a spare Han and Luke for $9 each at Walmart today. Sadly the price had not dropped  further on the deluxe sets though, they were still $30.

Grabbed the two remaining speeder bike sets I could find from Target on clearance for $17.48 each. Figure they will not last long at that price. Still think Jabba will linger though.

Found a new collector shop local to me.  And they're kind of cool!  Their pricing was reasonable and I was able to get a Commander Cody for $22 and a deluxe Han & Tauntaun for $35.  Not terrible in my book.

I picked up a 6" Kylo Ren from a local collector shop.  It's nice to be supporting the independent guys with whom you can develop a personal business relationship.

Finally picked up First Order Storemtrooper.  But this reminds me the old days, when you had to go to the stores at opening time in order to get anything.
