Wow, those are some wee peepers on that Stormy helmet!

Bossk looks great as expected. I hope these stay on schedule and see the light of day in February.

Based on the images released on eBay, I contacted the sell and he said that the jaw for Bossk is no longer articulated.  :(

That's really disappointing.  :(

Yes, very disappointing and unnecessary IMO. How are they not able to cost these things out prior to showing them off at SDCC? It should not be hard to verify which features will be included ahead of time. Cutting corners like this is really the biggest turn off with this line.

And that Han helmet looks terrible, way too squished and the lenses are all messed up.

I guess we should be happy they're not jacking the price up to $25... ::)

The problem is that they are clearly showing they can make a better offering, then putting some less into production.  We saw it with the 4" Yoda, we see it with Bossk.  Better that they never show us the art of what is possible.  I'd be feeling great about Bossk in the lineup as is, but knowing that they had a prototype that was even cooler and didn't move forward with it makes me sour about the whole line.

I know a dude with the TCW prototype and it's jaw moved and was totally doable even in that scale.  This blows and I may actually not buy him now.   He was all set to move into Bossk's Bungalow but now the other roommates may not allow.

Bummer about Bossk. I was all set to buy multiple of the Hans too since the regular Stormie is so hard to find but I guess I'll just import some of the Japanese versions. Hasbro really needs to consider alternate heads instead of removable helmets.

LOL, JTA is calling that guy a liar now.  :D

From the pics they just posted, the jaw is clearly articulated. Hoping this is not just a funky variant...

Am I misreading that there may be articulated jaw versions of Bossk in circulation overseas or are we just talking about a prototype figure?

Supposedly it is not a prototype, but it does belong to an overseas collector. I'm almost tempted to buy one from Viperskingdom just to see what shows up.

The figure looks like production paint so I'm assuming it's a production figure overseas.  Guessing Jayson just ran into a language barrier issue perhaps.  It happens.  Bossk is back on my radar.  Without the jaw joint, I was pretty ready to just pass.  Seems Hasbro didn't cut a corner here afterall. :)  I'm pretty happy since I wanted only that figure, and the thought of any cost cutting measure was immediately annoying.

Here is the ebay exchange (I swear I wasn't trying to insight nerdrage/panic). He clearly states "month[sp] can not move"

Maybe it was paint stuck and he didn't realize it?  I don't think anyone questioned your story Jayson.  You were given the info by someone who owned it (clearly) so you didn't do anything to incite nerd rage.  You wouldn't ever have to do much even if you wanted to.  ;D
