Another amazing figure - updated look at Revoltech R2-D2.  Coming March 2015 for 5,200 yen.

Nobody does panel lines like the Japanese!  I love that figure.

Really glad I passed on the Hasbro version now. And good news for Americans, the Yen is pretty weak right now, so these shouldn't be as expensive!

So the Revoltech Vader just happened to get purchased today. I have to check out the workings of that multi-plece cape in person. If anything maybe I can remove/replace the cape. IDK

I'd think removal would be easy...  These things, from everything I've seen so far, are pretty easy things to modify if you wanted to.

Did you order yours from BBTS, HobbyLink, or somewhere else? I'm trying to decide if it would be better to import one and spend a lot on shipping vs. buying one from BBTS at an inflated rate but having a small shipping charge.

Looking forward to your review once you get your hands on it!

I ordered from BBTS, as A. they are a sponsor and B. They ship really fast to MN so I'll have it monday.  ;)

With the yen as it is, HLJ is a pretty good option especially if you don't mind a wait and opt for the slower shipping.

Cool, thanks Jayson. I can't even find the Revo Vader on HLJ anymore so perhaps BBTS is the only option.

I just typed up Revo Vader.  I think Vader would've brought it up too actually.

It's a site I've grown to adore lately. :P

HLJ had a "low stock" of Vaders so I went ahead and ordered one. Came out to about $47 before shipping (I used their warehouse option because I might spring for express shipping later). Hopefully I'll have it by the end of the month. :)

Just an FYI cheap shipping takes just under a month, or that's been my experience.  Anywhere from 20-25 days abouts.
