Finally some people are opening up the TFA figures and keeping them instead of instantly ebaying them.

- X-Wing Poe: helmet definitely does not come off

- some of the figures do indeed have holes in their back to accomodate attaching the "build-a-whatever" part. For sure X-Wing Poe and Jakku Finn, maybe more.

- Good news though that most of these 5POA seem to have ball-jointed heads - should make it pretty easy to do a non-helmeted X-Wing Pilot Poe (head swap with Armor Up Poe) and a Stormtrooper Finn that way.  :D

Ugh at holes in the back unless they're small.  I like that TIE pilot tho.  Poe not so much.  I'm on for a TIE Pilot though right now.

WHAT? Don't they fear parents angry letters about kids losing their heads.
(I mean, the action figures' heads, not the kids' heads.)

Nice to finally get a look at Atsy...the other guy is interesting.

Wonder if this discovery suggests that we could see a second wave of 6" guys now too...

Where you antsy about Atsy?  :P

Why did so many folks assume what was in the leaked (pack-in?) catalog was it? That has never been true of modern star wars.

Asty and Sarco are cool.  Two army builder repacks from Wave 1... not too bad I guess.

Still not sure about buying the repacks just to complete the "build-a-whatever" thingy.  Wish I knew if these were just Hasbro creations or from the movie... maybe a combo of both?  Maybe we'll find out on Friday?  :-\

Seriously? The dead Inquisitor we are never going to see again? Not either of the two new ones for the upcoming season?

Weak sauce, Hasbro.

I assume the answer is no, but do any of these build a weapons have an official name? My spreadsheet OCD isn't going to appreciate it if they don't.

I haven't seen any confirmation on whether they are "off-screen" Hasbro creations or things from TFA with official weapon names...  we have an email out to Hasbro to see if they can comment on them now that it's past 9/4.

Snow/Desert Wave 3 pre-order at EE.

EE doesn't list the case contents, but if you'd like to order it sight unseen, now you can! :P
