So, Disney's fault then - valuing secrecy over toy sales.  A nice concept I suppose, but I'm still surprised.

Snoke not having a figure hasn't really bugged me - rumors are he's super tall, and we've only seen him as an oversized hologram so it didn't strike me as weird at this point.  Besides, don't we already kind of have a figure of him?  :-*

No Ghost in any scale.  Except Playskool. There's always that Ghost. That interacts with the Phantom.  Money left on the table.

Here's an interesting article from Forbes where Hasbro says TFA Luke is coming, and they also admit that the Force Friday mishaps last year were their fault.

http://www.forbes.com/sites/lukethompson/2016/07/29/for-star-wars-toys-hasbro-prepares-to-go-rogue/#6d2b3e1027f8

I finally got around to reading this.  And I find it astounding that the so-called "Mystery Box" was so all-encompassing that the people at Hasbro only saw Luke when the film was released!

The news about the Ghost is a little disappointing, but not totally unexpected.  REBELS is a cool show, but I don't think there's enough interest in the marketplace to support a Ghost vehicle that's even as big as the TFA Falcon.

Most of all, this passage was interesting:

...they plan to make a big announcement in the near future regarding the super-articulated 4-inch figures that are currently exclusive to Walmart.

I hope we're going to get some good news on this front.  Time will tell, I suppose.

I missed that part... I'd be happy enough if they just made them non-exclusive - more frequent releases would be nice too.  I'd rather pay $13 for a really nice figure than $9 for a not-so-nice one.

I was also really shocked to learn that the Hasbro team never saw any production imagery of Luke Skywalker from THE FORCE AWAKENS until the movie was released.  Lucasfilm really kept the lid on Luke that tight?!?!?  I do remember and image of Luke surfacing before the movie was released, but seriously?  I guess we probably won't see a TFA Luke figure until at least December if not later.

Is this the outfit Han is wearing when he dies?

I was thinking about picking up an extra one and drilling a hole in his chest to put a lightsaber through...

From the image search, it seems right - but I was hoping I could confirm it with you guys' help rather than waiting until I'm home to get out the blu-ray:

Finally drilled a hole in that extra Han over the weekend... it's nothing special, but I like it on the shelf like this.  The figure is a little undersized, and looks more undersized at this angle, but it is what it is:

Han looks very bored for a guy with a lightsaber in his chest.  Good stuff.

Ha.  I toyed with trying to repaint his face to be more anguished... but without any articulation on the figure, he was still going to be standing there like it was 1983, and I'm likely to ruin it anyway.  So, it's Han with sword-through-the-chest action feature and that's where it'll stay.

Yesterday I picked Luke Bespin with that model of backpack at 22.40 soles (in Perú); that is $6.86

Was at the distributor Tai Loy. Before they have reached the double price.
