Target Black Series 6" FO Riot Stormtrooper and Poe

Another exlusive!  I guess we missed this one somewhere along the way.

Exclusive to Argos in the UK and rumored to be exclusive to Target in the USA, it's a 2-pack with a 6" First Order Riot Control Stormtrooper and 6" Poe Dameron in his regular gear (with white helmet).

Yeah just today I think.  No word on the DPCI yet, but I will repost it here when they get to it.

I nabbed a few of these at Target this morning using the DPCI mind trick.  No hassle getting them brought out, but the guy took the rest back to the stock room without even looking for a shelf location.  I think they are intended for some kind of upcoming display like Nick said - probably based on the Target Wish List items that were posted a few days ago.

There is a shipper/end cap display that will hold them. I caught a brief glimpse of it last night but before I could snap a pic, a red shirt whisked it away off the sales floor.

My info came from a source who is employed at Target.

I think Jeff's point is that the printed source material in the link provided specifically calls out that item as "Available 11/15."  Obviously they are already in the inventory at a lot of stores and there will probably be some variation in when stores actually get them on the shelves, but I would trust the printed date of 11/15 over random red shirt guy if you're planning on a date to go look for these.

Found this set today (Oct. 30) while shopping at Target this morning.  Almost overlooked it as I was looking for the single-packed 6" figures and the set was hanging below the one Finn figure from the first TFA wave.  It was not part of any display, just hanging with all the other items.  At first, I got a bit of sticker shock, but then $39.99 is about the price of two of the single-boxed figures (and this set has two figures) so it made sense. 

The Poe Dameron figure is nice whereas the Stormtrooper is the same as the single version, just with a couple extra accessories.  I can't help thinking the Stormtrooper with riot gear looks like one of those "Peacekeepers" from the Hunger Games books and films

I'm still seeing this set with some regularity at Target.  And I can't help but think that this set should have been offered some other way.  Having a 2-pack with Poe Dameron in his Resistance uniform is great.  But how does that tie in with the Riot Control Stormtrooper?  Having seen the film it seems like Finn with the lightsaber would have been a more appropriate match for that particular trooper.  And maybe they could have offered Poe with some other First Order Stormtrooper?
