Well, we're bumping old threads--I'll bump this one too, what the hell.

Last show I went to was Radiohead in Houston on October 1st.  Good, good stuff.  As I've probably said elsewhere, what I was most impressed with was the way that they re-created their trademark "sound", with all of the different layers and effects, for the live show.  They sounded very faithful to their studio versions.  Hope to see them again sometime.

My next show very well could be seeing The Flaming Lips and The White Stripes together in Chicago at the Aragon Ballroom on New Year's Eve.  Trying to get the details hammered out right now, but what a cool, kick-ass time that would be if I get to go to that.  Two great bands, in a great town, on New Year's.

You guys been to anything recently, or have anything coming up?

I love you!  I want you to be the Gilligan to my Skipper.  Whaddaya say, Little Buddy?

I didn't go to the show, but Shania was here in Hicktown a couple weeks ago, and from what I heard, she came out wearing the jersey of future Heisman winner Jason White.

So, can I take that as a 'yes', Mainland05?

Fantastic contribution, Gilligan.

(Would you look at that?  I've gone and derailed my own thread.    :-[  )

Just got back from the A Perfect Circle show. Maynard spent the entire show on a platform set back further from the rest of the band. His face was difficult if not impossible to see due to his hair and position. The only way you could tell it was him was the voice or the tattoo on his back.

The show was about an hour and fifteen minutes, not counting the opening act, Den of Fools or something. They sucked. APC rocked.
