A guy on Twitter tweeted a picture today of what looks to be the next Disney BAD exclusive, a Halloween themed droid.

Ooh, I need this too. Once you start down the dark path of buying these, you might as well buy them all. :P

Looking forward to the eventual R2-TKY Thanksgiving droid and the R2-DRNK NYEve droids!  :D

That's pretty cool. You guys know the drill. PM me.
This one will be the last one I get for a while. I'm not renewing my pass for a few years.

As always the BADs are still at Disneyland. They might still have R2-D60 and R5-M4. R2-BOO might have replaced those two.

That is a CAF deco...  Lots of color.

I'm down for these...  All of them, however they crank them out at this point.  Love 'em.

This is why that EE set doesn't bug me that much (though I'm not a fan of THAT sculpt).  The extra arms/sensor scope bits are worth the "Ugh" factor after that was announced, to me.  They're cool and have something unique going for them, just like all these WD Droids and BADs.

Actually, I think they are starting to do figures around their "events" - if you think about it, yesterday (the 2nd) was the start of the 2016 Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party which runs through October 31st - so I'm sure this BAD is tied to that.

Last year, the R2-H15 came out around the time of the 2015 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

So maybe they're going to start doing a new droid each year for both of those events (or alternate) in addition to May the Fourth (or possibly Revenge of the Fifth) - there are plenty of excuses for Disney to crank out more, like the D23 convention, park anniversaries, etc... It's been all over the place so far, but compared to 2015, 2016 has been a "light" year (fingers crossed it stays that way)

2015: R2-D60, Holo R2-D2, R4-D23, R2-H15, TFA Droid 4-Pack, 25 Dome Wave added to the parts bins
2016: 4 TFA Domes added to the parts bins, R4-M5, R2-B00

I'll be there around the holidays - so if they do end up having another Christmas Party themed figure, hopefully it's still around for me to grab a few when I'm there. I'm not sure how well R2-H15 stuck around post Christmas day last year...

Weird.

I mean, appropriate for the occasion, but this type of release pushes the limits of collecting to collect.

Way too much of a gimmick for me to take the plunge.  I've gotten a few of the special edition astromechs from Disney in the past couple of years.  But I'm passing on this one.
