Same here. Glad to see we're getting him in addition to the Squad Leader, who is distinguished by the blue stripe he has and the kama it seems. This one also has an ammo pouch or something on his hip. Very cool.

Wow...so the Squad Leader is the Wave 2 guy, right?

I hope this is easier to find and in greater numbers than the Shock Troopers last year. Those required a lot of stalking to score.

I can't put a number on it yet but I will need a lot of these guys. Dang.

Hope we get some release date info soon.

I'm sure these will be just as pleasant to find as the Shocktrooper was last year.  ::)

Yeah what Diddly said...  Were these to be out even?  Very confusing on this.  Everything else was pretty well communicated but this, just "oh yeah hey, these are a thing" and nothing on when or whatever.

Don't forget that NYCC happens next week - we'll probably get a bit more info then on all these new exclusives that popped up today.

That's true.  It's odd leaving things off rogue Friday but there's holidays to deal with too.

I saw on the Target 3-pack online listing that it's set for a 10/31 release.  I wonder if WalMart is sticking to the same schedule?  Because aside from the one or two Instagram postings, I don't think I've seen any photos from people who have actually bought this trooper.

Got lucky and found this guy today...just thought I would mention that Brickseek showed a "0" count on hand at every store around here but they all had a small disclaimer that just appeared last night stating something to the effect of "Stores reporting limited availability" so it could be worth your time if you see that pop up in your search. They rang up at the regular 6" price.

Now in stock for $49 through a reseller.   ::)

I'm not sure why Wal-Mart does this whole reseller thing.  It makes their site look like some giant Craigslist garage sale smashed together with their store inventory.  I think it negatively impacts their brand by allowing this crap.

I think the WalMart marketplace sellers are a bunch of bull****, too.  WalMart is trying to compete with Amazon on the online retail front.  And a big part of Amazon's business are the Amazon marketplace sellers, who are all 3rd party sellers who offer their products through Amazon.

For Amazon this format works.  Even with some of their exclusive toy offerings.  But with WalMart?  I think it crosses a line.  Especially since they have so many exclusive items.  A number of which their marketplace sellers will scoop up from WalMart stores and THEN re-sell via WalMart.com at inflated prices.  I've been railing against this since I saw some WalMart marketplace sellers offering the *supposedly WalMart exclusive* and current 3.75" Black Series figures at double and triple retail price.

The whole WM exclusive thing is an utter and complete disaster here in SoCal's San Fernando Valley. We have four stores. In Woodland Hills, employees are stealing the stock. Just today their system shows they have a case of these and no one can find them. Same store has not had 3.75 Black series at all since before Sept 30th because their system shows they have two cases on hand and no one can find them. In Burbank, a Hot Wheels guy has claimed ownership to the store. He tells anyone looking for Hot Wheels, Star Wars or Marvel Legends to "Find another store, this one's mine." He physically blocks people from getting product and none of the employees care. In fact, I've seen them bring him a fresh case of 6 inch Wave 2 on Monday. Panorama City is a joke. They're clogged with old product and refuse to make room for new stock. I had a conversation with their toy people and management and they just don't grasp the concept that the are sacrificing the sale of 100 pieces to move 10. Porter Ranch, the final store, is just too far out of my way and they have a very small and empty SW section. On-Line, we all know the deal there. So in one of the Largest cities in the US, WM can't figure out how to supply their stores.
