Admiral Raddish looks fun, though hands are bit humanoid for his species.

Cuz he's a grey-green skinned polar region Mon Cal, which are apparently slightly different from the red-pink tropical region Mon Cal guys we've seen before.

(not making that up either]

Hadn't seen that article. I'm more shocked that Ree-Yees was almost the Ackbar character. Also, we need Forest Ackbar with saxamaphone.

Bohdi Rook reminds me of Vinny from Disney's Atlantis the Lost Empire.

Can always articulate it yourself if you're feeling saucy.

I'm planning to do that with a few figures just because.  I'll grab that Stormtrooper officer for that actually.  I'm going to do up the one DT I have here that way too.

Like Jeff, I can't count on Wal-Mart to get me the numbers (even minimum) I want so I have a backup plan as crummy as it may be.   :-\

On the Scarrif/Shore/whatever troopers I find it interesting that they're the Empire's Marine Corps more or less...  Kinda makes you look at the "Imperial Naval Trooper" with a question mark...  Though, are they one in the same, just in a combat armor?  Questions for another section of the forums.

Not to be confused with Imperial Navy Commandos.

I think it's a pretty good bet that the 5 POA Death Trooper Specialist will make it to retail before the WalMart exclusive version.  The same goes for the 5 POA Shoretrooper figure, whichever version it is.  I see that happening very deliberately.

I've also been wondering this:  is Admiral Raddus a conscious nod to Ibtisam from the Dark Horse ROGUE SQUADRON title?

Ah, I hadn't forgotten them I just kinda ignored them since they're EU, but you're right, and I always wondered if maybe that's a DST in "combat armor" or something...

2 of the figures (them and their officer) I never got...  Didn't have a ton of interest in TFU 2 so I skipped those packs.  Kinda wish I hadn't now.  Those held their value pretty strong.

Those look great! Pumped for 6 inch Vader. I have a few from the Japanese companies and none have produced an "ultimate" Vader.

Maybe that's why Ackbar was rereleased in the Black Series line, so we can buy another one and repaint it to be Raddus. :P

Maybe he is... but looks like the movie is going to have some more of the species with gray/blue skin too... looks really cool to me.

It was clear that there were some other blue/grey Mon Cal's in the background of the scene from the sizzle reel.  I hope we see some of them too in addition to Admiral Raddus.

That got me thinking that we've actually gotten a pretty interesting array of Mon Cal figures.  Just running down the ones we've gotten in the 3.75" line, there's a bunch:
-Admiral Ackbar (POTF2, TVC & WM Black Series)
-Mon Cal Officer (POTJ)
-Meena Tillis (ROTS)
-Ibtisam (TLC Comic 2-pack)
-Mon Calamari Warrior (TLC - Clone Wars)
-Nahdar Vebb (Clone Wars)
-Rebel Pilot (TVC)
-Admiral Raddus (Rogue One)

The Mon Cal's are definitely representing!

I forgot they made Nahdar Vebb. They never made Captain Ackbar or the young prince. One of the quirks of the CW toys, one shot characters got made why characters from entire story arcs didn't.

I'm sure everyone is wondering now if Imperial Disguise Jyn's helmet comes with the open visor.
