Doesn't sound too different from the last album--but it's hard to tell from one full song and minute-thirty-long clips of three other songs. 

Apparently they're gonna release an EP here in a few weeks called "Melody and the Tyranny" containing two tracks from the new album, a live version of "Do It for the Kids" from the first album, and a cover of Talking Heads' "Psycho Killer."

Dunno--I just found out about it today, while cruising Wikipedia.  It says June 4 for the EP (album follows on July 3).  I would assume it'll be available in most stores, but I didn't see anything for it at Amazon or DeepDiscount just now.

Back in the day, I picked up this cool import vinyl picture disc for the "Don't Cry" single.  It had both versions of Don't Cry, but it also had (and this was the reason I bought it) a demo version that I had never heard before.  I think it was from 1986 or something.  It's fairly similar to the Illusion I version, but it's a little more stripped down, not quite as glossy, and is lacking that silly vocal stuff at the end.  It's also got a cool little spoken word part during the guitar solo.  I like it a lot better than the final version.

Anyway, I found a pretty good copy of it online the other day, so I thought I'd upload it for anyone here who might be interested:
