Nah, the alternative to getting old is something less preferable, so it doesn't bug me that much.

Well I drove by a few gas stations this morning - nothing over 2.81 and no long lines...

I guess I'll fill up this afternoon before it jumps 50 more cents...

Where exactly do you live out here in the DFW area?  I'm in Garland and the best I found this morning on the way to work was 2.89.  I'm hoping for that on my way home today.

I'm right downtown and saw $2.79 while dropping my girlfriend off at SMU this morning - $2.81 was closer to my place (in downtown).

When I went looking for toys at lunch, the best I saw was $2.85 - and the worst I saw was $2.95 out in Mesquitte.

I'm sure it will all have gone up even more by tonight/tomorrow.

I'm over here in Garland and found it for 2.89.  I never thought I'd be happy to say I found it for almost 3 dollars.

On the to work this morning gas was on the rise, I spotted 116.9 per litre but when I got to Domo they were still at 101.4 so off I go to fill up with my coupon for 5 cents off. I was down to an 8th of a tank and topped it off. Came to $65.15 then down to $62.00 CDN.

Coming home, gas prices are steady at 114.9 per litre but no doubt more stations will put the price up. Bastards!

Was that $1.149 in Canadian Dollars?

If so, what does $4.60 CAD translate into U.S. dollars?

Put it in a language that us heathens can understand!
