Yeah, that's always a kicker witht he city driving.  I go to classes in PIttsburgh but fortunately I avoid most of the heavy traffic and take some short-cuts.

The rest is mostly highway driving to my area here...

I go out in the city a lot though, for just something to entertain myself, and that has gotten costlier.  A trip down and back, not counting time in any traffic I may hit...  At least I go down that way at night when there's not really any traffic till you get to the entertainment areas.

As always, California is leading the charge when it comes to outrageous gas prices.  Cheapest I've seen anywhere over the past week has been $2.23.  Absolutely sucks, and it ain't gonna get any better...   >:(

My Local AM?PM is at 2.13 which isn't that bad were compared to other stations around me.  The local LA stations are making a big deal about the fact that this area has just reached the $3.00 a gallon price range but it's for full sevice for preiume gas.  If you don't want to spend the money pump you gas yourself and get the cheaper grade since most cars don't need it anyways.  Just my 2 cents.

Ouch, your higher than us Brent.  :-\

Still at 88.5, there is one station with the low right now, 79.9. Guess I need that Mad Max gas syphon thingy!

It will soon be a dollar a litre up here.  :'(

Egad!

93.9 cents/Litre (Canadian)
=
67.6 cents/Litre (US)
=
$2.56 per Gallon

Did I do my math correctly? (3.79 L to 1 Gallon)

That sucks... $35 to fill a standard 14gal tank. :(

That's about right.  The difference is in the taxes.

I paid $1.89 a gallon today in New Jersey.  This is the highest I've EVER seen gas prices in NJ.  I can only imagine what the rest of the country is like, because NJ has some of the lowest gas prices nationally.  The lowest price I saw yesterday in NY state was $2.08 a gallon.  It's really getting out of hand.

Your telling me. I just had my neighbors gas can filled for him. (borrowed his mower, so I owed him the favor.) Good god. 2.15 a gallon.

As soon as I clicked on this thread, my grandma pulled up and told me to take the gas can over.

Shes Psychic.

$1.95 a gallon was the most common "low" price I saw...  $1.99 was next.

I got a half tank for $1.94 today at a full serve station actually, right up the hill from me, but...

$1.94-$2 isn't cheap for us...  I was trying to explain it to the guys at Scum taking shots at each other (fun jabs perhaps) that they don't factor in local cost of living for the prices...

LA's jabbing Matt, but in Pittsburgh we're paying the equivalent because things just cost less here overall, and subsequently people are paid less on average.

Sucks, but it's the way of the world with this gas thing...  $12 was what it cost me to fill half a tank.  Monnth ago that'd have at least come close to filling my car up totally.

Blah.
