Well, I've taken the plunge.

I picked up the 12" Buffy at my local comic shop. I'd say more about it, but  I can't bring myself to open it, it's so beautiful in the box. :o

open it!  The 12"ers have collector friendly packaging, so if you decide to trap buffy in her prison again, you can do so with ease....but trust me, they look alot better when opened up and posed....

I just got an email from Cinequest confirming that 12" regular Willow I mentioned a few posts back.  They expect Sideshow to release it in August.  Here's hoping.

DST's store is finally open, selling the exclusive Willows.

The White Witch version is currently sold out, but the other two are in stock. I picked up a vamp Willow since Toyfare is unable to send me the one I ordered months ago.

I've gotten a message from DST, and it says my vamp Willow will be here later today.

Happy dance!

Anyone else who has the Spike doll:

Do his ears look a little dark for a fellow without any sunlight on him at all, or is it just me?

my Willow's Spellbook set came today from Time & Space toys.  Number 2115 of 3000.

The packaging was absolutly fantastic, with a flocked black tray holding the willows in place....but of course I ripped them from the packaging and now have them displayed with the rest....

Lots o' new Buffy figures. :D

The chase version of Tara, from 'Hush'.

Anyanka, with an accessory that kills my hopes for an Olaf figure. :'(

Anya from 'Once More, With Feeling.' Kewl.

Wedding Anya. Aww, how precious.

Pretty neat stuff, eh?
Now, DST, bring on the new Spike figure pics!!

That Tara is my favorite yet.  This must be the one that comes with Willow in the two pack.  Joy.

No, that Tara is the chase variant of the regular taras, Packed 1 to every case of 12 figures.

They have yet to reveal the pics of the Will/Tara 2 pack....

Yeah, I noticed that when I went there to pre-order them and discovered this Tara was going for an astounding $26.99.  And she's not due til October, and they charge you right away.  Any thoughts on what the two pack one will look like then?

Got my Willow's Spellbook today.

I think it was #2114, but I don't have it handy to check.

I will say DST needs to work on making sure hair is completely painted. I've got some red showing through White Witch Willow's hair. Totally sloppy, man.

It's a cool piece, though, and I hope this is an idea DST continues for the exclusives, since stores see it fit to charge $27 for a figure that, while it is a chase, still ships in every case.

$27 for that Tara is horrific.  They can go to you know where.  Too bad as it's the best Tara.  Sigh.  I'll stick with the two pack, assuming the Willow in there is nice and new.

Saw the new Sideshow 12" Faith at the Core today. I didn't buy it, but I was tempted.

And I just found out a neat-o 12" Willow is coming out next year. Take a looksie.
