You really think he's too small?  I have one in my Lars garage diorama, and the scale seems dead on.

I've done 1 custom with a bust-up so far, and that was my Gand Jedi.  The Zuckuss head/hands fit perfectly on the ROTS Kit Fisto body.  I think the Bossk works well also, but I haven't tried it.
I was really excited about making a bunch of custom Mandalorians with the Bust-Ups Boba/Jango Fetts, but they seem to be underscaled (especially when put next to the Series 2 Stormtrooper) :-[
The Han Solo and Luke heads are a little too big, in my opinion.
The Stormtrooper works well (the helmet of the bust-up is slightly larger than the VOTC helmet, so it works well if you're going to hollow out and put a head inside).
I can't wait for the ROTS Clones bust-ups!

I agree Gregorbian - the Bust-Ups can make some excellent custom fodder.

So far, I've experimented with the Sidious one some, along with the 4LOM head and Chewie head/arms.

I think that both Fetts have a lot of customizing potential too... and the Stormtrooper heads I am planning on using for some Darktrooper customs.

I want the bust-up boba for his ROTJ-accurate rifle for my VOTC Fett.

Definitely, the bust-ups weapons are amazingly detailed and accurate.

EE Summer Blowout = Custom fodder Galore
« Reply #21 on: August 19, 2005, 01:51 AM »
http://www.entertainmentearth.com/hitlist.asp?searchfield=Summer_Blowout_Sale

A buddy of mine in the Colorado thread here pointed this out to me, and I thought I'd pass it on. EE is doing a summer clearance, and there are some pretty good deals on cases. There is potential for some cheap fodder.

Awesome man, thanks  ;D
I didn't end up getting any custom fodder, but I was able to snag a Warhammer statue and a G.I. Joe Crimson Guard statue  ;)

I searched the site some, but didn't really find anything that I wanted to spend my money on (which was probably a good thing).

Other than Greg's purchase and Phruby's fabulous find, did anyone else get anything?   ;)

Maybe but they've done blowouts before. I believe back during EP1 they had one where they opened their warehouse and were selling things like crazy.

Yeah, but I know some people over there and they're tightening the reigns financially, and their best people are leaving in droves.
