I heard their new single, but I haven't found a decent mp3 of it yet. The new album comes out May 17th, so I'll be soaking that in while waiting on line for ROTS. :)

Ughh, I can't stand their new song...sounds like inspirational Christian Rock or something (the chorus anyways).

Well, hey, that's, like, your opinion, man. [/dude]  :)

I noticed the local rock stations have stopped playing it in favor of that new Foo Fighters tune. Eh.

 ;)

Don't get me wrong, Chris Cornell kicked ass with Soundgarden and I love Audioslave's first album - I fear they are going down the same path that APC has...

Can't wait to have the new NIN in my hands come Tuesday!!

 ;D

I've got the Boondock saints soundtrack and Braveheart soundtracks playing. I've found I love Celtic bagpipe music, especially when it is mixed into classical music or classical music with an almost techno edge. Great stuff, I also just doubled my music library year, I added like 8 gigs of stuff.

Any good freebies for that one yet?

I saw it listed in the Target ad ($11.98) with a "free download", but I'm not sure what that means.

Didn't look like the Best Buy ($11.99) was offering any freebies with it.

The DVD that comes with this soundtrack is awesome. I've watched it 4 or 5 times already. Really great stuff.

Oh yeah, the soundtrack is great too.  ;D

Someone around me found, and bought,  the soundtrack at Target yesterday, so be on the lookout they may be slipping out a tad early, granted it does come out tomarrow anyways but I thought I'd let you guys know.

So,

Picked it up last night on my way home from work ($11.99 Best Buy) and only had time to listen to a few tracks.  This AM however, I am 75% through my first full run.

So far, so good!   :)

"Anakin's Evil Deeds" = excellent.  ;D

I guess this as good as a spot as any...

What do ya'll feel about the use of Leia's Theme in the End Credits?  I don't think it needs to be there at all.  The Victory March is a perfectly fine way to close out the Saga as it sort of is a fitting tribute to the people who worked on the movie

Leia's theme though is OT AND he already used it in the ANH credits...if anything, IMHO he should have used the equally beautiful Luke and Leia's Theme or created a longer version  of the Force Theme.  It just doesn't sit right with me for some reason and in a lot of ways seems lazy

The DVD was cool but could have been a lot better :-\
