I was gonna wait til Christams for "Back Spacer" but you guys are making me think maybe I better get it now.

On a different note. I don't know if there are any other Snow Patrol fans on jd, but on my way home the DJ on the radio said, "We had Snow Patrol on the other day and they said their fans that have been with them for a while need to be ready for their new album to sound different because it was time for them to grow as a band." Then they played ther new song.

I hope I just was caught off guard in this case, but note to ALL bands. There is a huge difference between growing as a band and selling out. NOT THE SAME THING!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would totally pick up Backspacer now. As for Christmas, I'm sure I'll end up with two more copies much like I did when Avocado came out.

I didn't much care for Snow Patrol until I saw them with U2 a couple weeks back. I agree, they do need to grow as a band. They are capable of a lot more, and live, all their songs seemed to blend together in a mess of adult alternative noise, except when they decided to jam a little bit between tunes.

Well not officially released yet, but it looks like AC/DC has another Box Set hitting for the X-Mas Season and this thing looks sweet. It consists of the following:

CD1 Unreleased, B-Sides, Songs from the Australian Albums, etc
CD2 and CD3 Consist of some great early songs recorded live from the Bon and Brian Johnson era, all of which are unrealeased.
DVD is the already released Family Jewels DVD, but this time expanded.
A Coffee Table Book and a Working mini replica of Angus' Amp to store all this goodness.
The downside? A $200 price. Check it out here:

I'm a fan of Slash on Facebook and he's been working on a new "solo" CD with a ton of singers.  I think it's being released in Japan next month and will be here sometime in February.  I'm pretty stoked about it as I've loved his other stuff from his GnR days to his side project Slash's Snakepit to Velvet Revolver.

Of course, I love that "bluesy" rock sound that only he (and sometime Joe Perry) are able to get out of their guitars.

I'm going to do a midnight run to my local WM for that. They better have it out, and they better have the Potato Heads too.

Yup its a keeper.  Best album since Dynasty IMO. I'm totally surprised Gene and Paul were able to pull it off anymore.  On a side note, I love Ace and all, but you can tell that Tommy Thayer added and brought alot to this album.  Ace should of stuck with sobriety and not obscurity.  What a waste of a great musician. Werent we suppose to get a KISS Guitar Hero? Thought Gene would be all over that.

Any good?

It's been covered, but I'll throw my 2 cents in that yes, it's good.

And I've got tickets to see them in November.  :)

Sweet deal on the concert Rob.  I'm still kicking myself for not going to CrueFest back in August when they were here.

Hey that's my birthday.  I should try and pitch this to my wife.

Do it!

We splurged on floor seats, but they sell seats for $19.50, $36.00, $76.00, or $126.00

I'm debating between the Minneapolis and Council Bluffs shows. I'd love to do both, but I can't.
If anyone's on the fence about seeing Kiss, just go for it. It's a phenomenal show, and well worth the price of a ticket.
