Actually, I like the Durge from the Clone Wars cartoon much more than the one from the comics. In the comics he just walks around and talks trash and acts all comic-cheezy. In the cartoons, he doesn't speak. He just has that creepy metallic laugh.

He really reminds me of "The Shrike" from an excellent series of books I read a few years ago, the Hyperion series by Dan Simmons. If any of you get a chance to read this series, do it. You won't regret it. For more info on it, go here. I personally recommend this series.

Eh, I kinda dig Durge, but I think his figure turned me more than his cartoon incarnation.

I mean, his figure is singlehandedly THE best figure Hasbro has put on shelves so far...  I think the Ultra Clone will replace it, but in the meantime Deluxe Durge is simply amazing.

-ball/socket knees
-ball/socket shoulders
-ball/socket elbows
-ball/socket friggin' torso
-ball/socket  neck
-wrist articulation
-working holsters for 2 nicely sculpted blaster pistols
-sawed off blaster rifle
-trident pike weapon
-nicely sculpted swoop bike

I mean, that's a LOT of toy for $10.  The first figure from Hasbro I can honestly say that they gave you everything you should get for a $10 toy I think...  Maybe Deluxe Luke/Bacta Tank was too, but Durge surpasses that I think.

Now, his cartoon character was just "ok".  The whole lancing to win a battle is a lame-ass plot idea though (Not Durge's fault, he coulda shot the hell out of Clones and I'd have dug THAT idea more).  Beyond that I think he's just ok though.

He's obviously a bit of a rip-off character.  A cross between the Terminator, T-1000 from T2, and a Boba Fett-esque bounty hunter...  And of course an obvious replacement TO the Fett boys.  That's a tad uninspired IMO, but I can still believe the Durge Character is/feels like a Star Wars character.

If I'd done the show though, Assajj would be the ultimate badass, not Durge.  She'd be weilding blasters, dual lightsabres, and a swoop bike with a gang of black droids.  Not Durge.

That would've helped simplify the story some too, as it's a bit weird having umpteen storylines for a series that's only 10 episodes, and each episode is only 5 minutes long...

Keep it to one story (the Muunilist story) and keep the characters to a minimum.

If I remember correctly they're done showing the Clone Wars cartoon until next year sometime.  At the time they'll bring the show back to finish showing chapters 11-20.  I think they'll be back in April if I'm not mistaken.  Anyone with an actual date when it's coming back?

#11 is up for Hyperspace members. Really good one - dog fights, humor, and better dialog than the movies... again.  ::)

#11 was indeed a good episode...

Lots of dogfighting between Assajj and Ani, as mentioned, and it was pretty intense seeing them fly through the cityscape on the Banking Clan's planet.

BTW, the Bankers have a nice rock to rest on...  It's a pretty peaceful looking place.

Anakin was indeed particularly doofy tonight so that was cool.  Lots of snotty stuff that you'd love to smack the crap out of him for.

The Clones constant "Yes sir", "No Sir" answers are funny...  I like that they are not the best conversationalists, but Obi-Wan still treats them like they're normal people.

Assajj's ship is officially on my "To-Do" list for customizing.  I REALLY want a scale one that opens up and everything.  It's not too big, and I already have a million ideas floating in my mind on how to do the "fan" part too.  Good stuff...  And ya know Hasbro wn't get off their ass on a Season 2 Clone Wars line, so I'm left to do it myself...  And likely do it better anyway.

Her ship's one of the neatest designs...  And it even keeps to the Geonosian Solar Sailer look too.  Love that stuff.

I loved tonight's episode...

Watching 1-10 though reminded me of some of the STUPID moments from those though.  Durge destroying an AT-TE with a lance, the Mon Calamari episode, Durge wreaking havoc with his lance otherwise, etc...  These toons aren't without some pretty "Stupid" seeming flaws.  Kind of like the prequals but to a lesser extent.
