Less than two weeks for Heroes to come back.  It's been a long wait.

I don't know if anyone has been watching 30 Rock on NBC, but its a pretty funny show.  It is good for a Star Wars reference every couple episodes as well (most often from Tina Fey's character).  Last night there were two "I will slice you open like a Taun Taun" and "I look like Admiral Ackbar".  I actually really enjoy the whole night of comedy on NBC.  Scrubs and the Office are two of our favorite shows, and 30 Rock and Earl are good as well.  I know comedies don't do that well in overall viewers/ratings anymore, and that kind of saddens me.  I like more dramatic shows like LOST and Heroes as well, but its nice to have a night to just laugh as well.  I guess I'm not into a lot of the reality/game show stuff that's being thrown at us anymore, its getting to be too much.

If you only need one reason to watch 30 Rock, here it is:

Alec Baldwin's character, dressed as Thomas Jefferson, on the Maury Povich show, flipping the audience off, in a dream sequence that Tracy Morgan's character is having.

Later, he says to Maury's audience, "may the Force be with you."

Drive has already been cancled. :(

Couldn't even give the show a chance to get some legs.

Just another reason Fox can suck it hard.  They rarely give new shows a chance.  This one had potential like so many others they have squashed.  Last night I noticed they were putting on an old House before 24 and I was thinking I wouldn't like the reason why.  This morning my fears were confirmed.  Hopefully we will be able to watch the last two episodes like they promised.

Drive?  Cancelled?  Now I'll never know how the secret, illegal, cross-country road race turns out...  :(

Did I mention it was about a secret, illegal, cross country road race?  Because they sure as heck mentioned it in the show... we counted 11 different times where a character said "secret, illegal, cross country road race" in the 45 minutes of the last episode I watched.   :P

I hate FOX.

When Nathan Fillion found out that the show he was auditioning for was going to be on FOX he should have given them the finger, wished them luck on getting more than 2 shows actually broadcast and then walked out.

I'm surprised that any producer can actually get an actor or actress to agree to be on a show for FOX.

I'm not shocked.

This is the same network that cancelled the funniest show in television history.

Considering Ron Moore (and david Eick?) of Battlestar Galactica fame are running Bionic Woman, I'll tune in.

Yeah, this new Bionic Woman show is terrible.  And if one more BSG actor shows up I'm done with it just on principle.

Otherwise, since there's nothing else on Wed night right now, I'll probably watch it just because the women on it are not completely unfortunate looking.

Just David Eick. No Ron Moore.
