How many more awards to go?  The screenplays, director, actors, and film?

Rings is up for at least three more. . .

Are we at 8 now for LOTR?

I'll drive down and take a whiffle bat if he makes one more lame New Zealand joke.

Yeah 2 Screenplays, Director, Actors and Film, they got 11 Nominations, the Screenplay is the one they might lose...but the way things are going, no way, 11 for 11!

Adapted Screenplay's theirs. . .

Haven't they only missed one so far--a sound one--to Master & Commander?

Let's all thank Peter Jackson for dressing up for the evening.

I didn't catch it--is he wearing shoes?

I was actually hoping for a tux with shorts.

Sofia Copola just won for original screenplay, which I'm betting puts LIT out for any other major wins...

If he wants to make The Hobbit...he needs to mix in a Salad or 3 to his menu

Regarding Lost in Translation--anyone else heard yet (I'm sure Tydirium has) that it's a slightly-autobiographical story about Sofia Coppola (Charlotte), Coppola's (now ex) husband and music video/film director Spike Jonze (Charlotte's husband), and Cameron Diaz (the ditzy blonde actress in the hotel)?

No word on who Bill/Bob is supposed to be. . .

Sure looks like a sweep for LOTR now. Can't decide who has scruffier hair, him or his wife Fran.  :)

Didn't know that was the case with LIT. Ditch her for Cameron Ditz-ex? Lame!

Couple things--

Bill wuz robbed!

Mikey Goonie was crying.

Andy Serkis should have given the acceptance speech, in Gollum-speak.

Wonder if Uncle George is watching this evening, as he continues the post-production on III. . .

And finally. . .

How come Michael Moore didn't present any awards tonight?

 ???

Well, Moore was squished under a Mumakil, does that count?

Urgh on the Bill M robbery. That's too bad. He wouldn't have made any stupid WMD cracks.
