Who want an OTC Snowspeeder Pilot Luke?
« on: March 19, 2004, 12:26 AM »
I sure as heck do.  Isn't this a totally neglected figure by Hasbro?  The buff POTF2 version is a piece of junk, and when the reissued it with the POTJ Snowspeeder they weren't doing anyone any favors.

I think it's time for a super articulated, well sculpted version of a Snowspeeder Luke.  And a Wedge/Dak should be made as well.

Thoughts?

Yes, please. Especially after how good the Unleashed one looks. I would have preffered it to the Dutch figure, honestly. All in time, I'm sure.

I agree completely.

And since we're getting interchangeable arms with Dagobah training Luke, why not give us interchangeable arms so we can have pilot Luke without gloves ala post-crash Luke?

God knows I do.  And Wedge, too.  Both of these figures are LONG overdue.

I know I do.   That's why I couldn't believe everyone on the various boards was crazy about the Snowspeeder Target glass & figure.   It always looked to me as the same old buff figure and why do we need that again?   Yet many people thought it was retooled... I don't know, I never thought so.  We are definitely due one and some other Hoth pilots.

I've been calling for this figure for a couple of years now.  It's certainly overdue.

Mark me down too, I'd really like to see this figure re-done.  I too have an Unleashed Luke Snowspeeder and it really makes you want a better version in the 3 3/4" scale.  I actually don't even have a version of this figure, since I stay away from the buff figures (got into collecting towards the end of them)...although I will pick up the glass w/figure if I see it (I like those glasses).  I also agree about Wedge, that's another figure I'd really like to see.  I don't have the other version in my collection, and have been holding out for them to do a new version soon.  Hopefully they will.

I've seen the Unleashed Snowspeeder Luke a few times but have tried to stay away from buying them.  Too much money and not enough room!

Isn't that a terrible dilemma? :(
