Hmm, those look good in that pic.  Still not that keen on non-helmets.  Would like to get just the Royal Guard and Biker Scout if I could (Boushh too ::))

These are looking pretty sweet - even the faces (non-masks) look realistic, especially the Emperor!

Oh man. These things are great! Have to stay away though.
I`m trying to get the other Tomy Dioramas that I want now, not too expensive, but
pain to find some of them, especially the early ones.

That's a tough one.  Most of the magnets are ROTS, but an OT and AOTC thrown in to throw me off.  Hmmm.  I'm going to say there's a theme with the Kubricks and pick Snaggletooth as the chase.

Question...why is thsi thread say TOMY when these magnets are made by Kotobukiya....not TOMY?  NO biggie, just curious to see if maybe I was confused or if the two companies were related.

I asked Jeff about this and he had a great answer for me.  Basically, Kotobukiya is the manufacturer, but TOMY is the distributor.  So they are still made by Koto, but TOMY slaps their name on the box too.

These were released in Hong Kong today!

Chase magnet is C-3PO and a Gree variant was found.  The action heats up..  ;)

Interestingly, the Gamorrean Guard is not in this pic.

Anyone has a spare Chewie magnet? I need just him. They're all over Ebay but they want $15 to ship it and that's just insane...

I was under the distinct impression that these are made by Koto, and not Tomy.  The boxes I have say as much.

Yeah, we were discussing this earlier:

I believe the earlier series had TOMY's name on the boxes, but it's interesting that all they have is Koto now.

A lot of things changed when Tomy merged with Takara last year.   It is possible that TOMY is no longer the distributor this time around and that is why they were dropped from the box.

I was just getting ready to change the title myself when I noticed JesseVader had already done it.

Good thing, that--we can all get back to living our lives now.

Whew.
