Silver Sandtrooper is on-line now for Hyperspace Members.

Can't wait to see how this one turns out regarding Figure Shipments (crushed or not crushed?).

And I'd like to remind anyone who requested them from me, that I did indeed pick them all up at SDCC, and in nice MINT condition.  Of course, they added 7.75% sales tax to the $10.21 price down there, so they came out to $11 each at the convention, as opposed to the $10 they're charging at SWS.com.   >:(

But I offer much better shipping and customer service at ShopJediMAC.com though!   ;)

Well allow me to say how pleased I am to be getting it through you Matt, rather than SSW.com.  I sincerely appreciate all your efforts.  When you figure things out, just drop me a pm with the amount and I'll paypal you right away.  Just send my stuff on to Jim (chuckles) place and he'll fire it on up to me.

My saga with SSW.com is nearing an end.  Got my adventure Kermits from Jim today, he has the clone busts in hand, so everything arrived and in excellent condition.  The only outstanding issue is the gift certificate.  It was not place on the first order as requested, so as soon as I get next month's CC bill, I'll likely be entering into conversations with them again to restore the never credited gift certificate ::)  My hotmail inbox is cluttered with emails to and fro SSW.com customer service.  I would dearly like to wrap things up with them, that much is certain.

Will these be available for Fanclub members later?  I do not want to waste any more money on a Hyperspace membership :-\

I think they will Jim.  I think the original order was SDCC, then Hyperspace members, and whatever's left can then go to everyone else a little later.

I think I may have an extra or two though, so if you need any, LMK!  $11 each (plus some free SDCC crap too!)   ;)

Well, I'm pretty amazed, but I ordered 2 Silver Sandtroopers yesterday, and they arrived this morning via Fedex! Only problem -- the cards are DESTROYED.

They used NO packing materials -- just threw the two figures in a cardboard box, and from the looks of them, they had to BEND THE CARDS to get them in. I'm e-mailing right now for a refund or exchange.

Ridiculous.

Whoopee!  I bought a ROTS T-Shirt and that may be the last of me dealing with this outfit...what a joke.  Luckily I knew enough not to bundle anything else with my order since the shirt is a preorder

That's why I was trying to get my gift certificate used on my then current orders, so I didn't have to run the gauntlet again, relatively speaking.  If they refuse, then I'll have to find something to order that is relatively indestructible.

Can you imagine ordering a $1000+ print and having it arrive looking like shiite? :'(

That sucks Steve.   >:(  Funny, but I was just coming in here to mention your comments from RS, but I see you've already done just that.  Cool.

SWS.com continues to impress...   ::)

Guess I should've snagged a bunch more of these from SDCC.  My requests for the Silver Sandies have already jumped since I've gotten back, but now I'm all out of them...   :-\

Ditto with the one I had ordered and just got.  The box they decided to send it in was 9x8 or so and they had to actually bend the card to make it fit.  I had to pull it out of the box it was that tight so that I could get some pictures of the card.

Here are some pictures I took:

Now I need to email the wonderful custormer service people.

Nice.

Great Job, SWShop.com!   >:(

I guess I got my answer on whether I am going to try to order the Holo-Emperor exclusive for my MOMC collection!

Yeah Matt those people.
Here is my email I sent just now:

Quote
[Dear StarWarsShop.com,
I had placed an order with your company for your exculisve Silver
Sandtrooper action figure on July 26. I recieved the item today and
proceded to open up the box, wondering in what condition my item would
be in seeing how the box looked a little small. When opening the box up
I immedatley saw that my item was placed in the box in such a way that
the cardback of the figure was bent noticably. Being a carded collector
of Star Wars action figures this item is of no use for me since its was
damage.
I'm not the first person that has had this problem with this figure and
other items being sent in such a way that we recieve the items
destoryed. I'm concerened on whether or not I should use your website
again for future items since it seems your shipping standards seem that
we the customers will have a high likely hold of getting an item which
has recieved damage from poor packaging on your shop side of things.
Hopefully you will improve your packaging in the future so that these
problems can be avioded in the future.
Sincerly,
Tom Nelson

I wonder what they will do about this situation and I wonder when they will start thinking about fixing they shipping and packaging.  An elephant can do a better job then them it seems.

If anyone with a destroyed one has a hard time getting their money back and wants to open it up and ship it to me in a padded envelope, I'll reimburse you for the 10$ plus 2 dollars or so to send it to me first class.

Just PM me if anyone is interested or can help me out.

Gee, now I'm not too sure about ordering this from these bastards.

I'd like to get my hands on all the Silver figures, but since I'm keeping them MOC, it wouldn't do me well to have the Sandtrooper arrive destroyed.

I'm also thinking about ordering the VOTC 8-figure set from these guys. That might be a bad idea. :-\
