Sorry to read about your poster, Dave.   I would have to assume they will replace it though as I think I read you can return any item for a refund.

I got a call from them last night (and I have a phone number for anyone who wants it :) ) and they left a message stating I had to return my second Vader or I will be charged for it.  NO ****!!!  I've been waiting for them to issue a pickup tag to Fedex as I am NOT paying to send it back.  I refuse to call them right now as it is not a toll free number so I am using email but it would be nice if they could get their act together on this.

You would think that they would have a toll free number to call after all this BS people have to go through!

I would think there is more to it than some JD curse, no matter how entertaining that is.  There must be literally hundreds of people having similar problems.

JediMac's topic about snobbery is probably helpful in this case, as lots of people that collect simply aren't online and many of them must too be having problems.  I'll say it again, they really are running this place poorly.  While the latest offenses are hardly litigible (as may have been dispersing credit card information) this is really no way to run an online business.

They had every opportunity to steal my online business from Newforce.  I was prepared to order cases from them simply because the intial customer service seemed so very good.  That, of course, has done the proverbial 180 turn around after the second opening, so that business is lost.  Rick's gain, their loss.  I suppose that's one person that is very happy.

On a different tangent, will my kermits be shipped at the same time as my clone busts?  If so, what is the likelihood that they will be smart enough to retain my Kermits for a period of nearly three months?  Cynical or just logical?

They would send a email electronic shipment confirmation with your order number & mention it has been shipped. Thats what I got for my Kermits & they arrived apparently better than Dave's poster. That poster is just a  :'(

HMI, Dave has the link to the poster at SWshop.com in his post.  ;)

Yeah, I figured as much.  No shipping notification, so not shipped yet.  I'm just wondering if they're bright enough to set aside my stuff or if I'll get an email in July saying we're sorry, because you chose not to have your items shipped immediately, we cannot meet your order, loser ::)

Just watch the charge on your CC. You should not get charged for anything until they ship, then again.  :-\

Refused to sign from Fedex , how many times did they try to deliver?

For me, they tried twice & it was done the 2nd time.

1st try: Customer not available or business closed.
Next day: Deliverd.

Sounds like this ones for Fedex but you may want to email SWShop & let them know providing they care!  :-\

Does Fedex do anything similar to UPS, where you can call them and have them ship to a nearby address on the next day?

Now I'm getting worried!

Hmmm...

I did a bit of digging and turned up some pictures of the employees hard at work for Shopstarwars.com:

I am so glad I am not a collector of busts/posters/etc and have managed to steer clear of them after the initial flub.  I'm thinking of trading my $50 GC to a guy for some figures... I'd probably be better off.
