Rave,

I waited a couple days to see if some of the more experienced artists would chime in first, but I guess I'll just have to make the first post.  :-X My only advice, and this is the best and most popular advice you'll get, I bet, is - practice, practice, practice!!!! That one word will be drilled into your head as an artist, writer, or about anything else. You have to practice before you can really begin to take shape in what you do. Don't expect to have a 'style' at birth, either... I've been drawing for years (since I was a little kid, really), and I've still yet to find a 'style'... It's frustraiting, but, over time I'll 'get there' where I want to be. You will to.

So just draw, draw, draw - maybe even paint - whatever you like. Practice.
