I think it is a waste of money/plastic.

Why didn't they include figures in it that were a little harder to get?  If it were me, I would have had the following figures included in it:

- Ephant Mon
- Gamorrean Guard
- Nikto Guard w/ EPII Nikto Jedi head
- Amanaman w/sturdy staff

The cannon accessory is alright though.

I would like the Han out of the set but not the rest. I will wait for this item to go on super low price sale then pick one up. If I miss out on it, oh well. I do not want this set that badly to pay $20.00.
For those of you looking for me. I am now at www.sandtroopers.com

I suppose it's nice for the folks who missed out on these figures.  That group seems to be Hasbro's primary focus this year, those who missed out before.

More power to 'em.  More money for me!   ;D

The more I see that, the less I want it. I was going to get it for the Han, but $20 is a bit much when I have other interests.

It is a Han that is kit-bashed and cobbled together from the CommTech Cantina Han (upper half) and the PotJ Bespin Han (lower half).

GH.com had a pretty good comparison photo here:

As many Skiff riders as there were at the 'skirmish' at Carkoon, Hasbro could have made all-new figures and put them out seperately on a single card. A new gammorean woulda been nice, too.

No, but they could have just called it "Jabba's Goons" or something like that instead and added in a better mix of figures.

Kit-Bash an Ishi Tib, and throw in a Tessek, Gammorean Guard and Ree Yees. Give us a couple blasters, a vibro-pike and those little thermal detonators we saw a while back, and the two carbonite slabs (frozen and unfrozen). There, I thought up a better 4-pack and it only took me about thirty seconds. Who the hell is working at Hasbro anyhow?

This Skirmish at Carkoon is the sort of crap that sits on the pegs and makes retailers think "Gee, Star Wars doesn't sell anymore".

A better idea for these 4-packs would be to put figures in them that people would want a lot of. 4 SA clones would never sit on the pegs...ever. 4 Rebel Fleet Troopers, 4 Imperial Officers, 4 Biker Scouts, 4 Sandtroopers, even 4 Gammorean Guards would be better than this.

I agree with others who think the set could've included Ephant and sold like mad...

I like Lando's idea of a kitbashed Ishi Tibb too.  There's a figure people would probably think was new they haven't seen it in so long.

Ephant takes the place of any large accessory, then the Tibb, and kitbash the Skiff Guards into Vintage Barada, Vintage Nikto, and just leave Klaatu as is (or even repaint him for a fan-fic or EU type character, who cares) and there you have a NICE appealing "fodder" set for Jabba's Palace or the skiffs.

A new head would be NICE for one or two of the figures...  Just a nice "hey, yeah, we'll give you something new to buy this" as well, but not entirely  necessary.  The figures may not be 100% accurate but they'd be better than the crap we ARE getting.

If they were going to insist on a Han then, I say skip Klaatu Skiff and simply do a BETTER Han...  Use the fold-out diorama Han's head (at least it had the right look) and even the torso...  Attach it to the legs they have in the image.  It'd be better than what we're getting.

I like the idea of the detonators too, some forcepikes and pistols...  Voila.

As it stands, this is a 100% pass on this set.  The Han's too much of a joke to bite.  Even clearanced this is a tough sell to me.   :-\
