Boy suspened over peanut butter threat

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - A sixth-grader was suspended after school officials accused him of threatening to expose a highly allergic teacher to peanut butter cookies, the boy's father said yesterday.

Loubert Gabriel said his son, Jules, 12, had been kept out of class since April 2, after a girl in his social studies class at South Orange Middle School told the teacher that Jules had made the threat. A May 13 hearing is scheduled.

The father said Jules was carrying a snack packet of Nutter Butter cookies and made a comment about having "something dangerous" but never said he had a weapon. "They mishandled this," Gabriel said.
"The good news is that all that blood is actually ketchup. The bad news, however, is that all that ketchup is actually blood."

Hey, if she's allergic to peanutbutter, it's a deadly weapon.  ;D

Max is allergic to peanuts, not drop over dead if he has one allergic but enough to get hives and starting wheezing a little the first time he had peanut butter.  I know that peanut allergies are something fierce and are on the rise in the youth of North America.  Its too bad too because PB is full of protein and most kids love it...not our son
