Camie...I Think I'm In Love
« on: June 14, 2004, 08:36 PM »
The latest Photoreceptor is a shot of the very fetching Camie who was sadly cut from all existence when the Anchorhead scene went bye bye

Did a little research on the Actress Koo Stark, seems like she acted in shall we say some more adult adventures

No screencaps from her other cinematic masterpieces?

Ever since I got the Behind the Magic cdroms, I've thought she was a total cutie. She would have looked hot in the Slave Girl outfit.

That is one series of scenes I would not lament seeing reinserted into Star Wars...

I think she's swell too. I didn't like her character (mainly since she hated Luke), but the actress is cute. Or as Lando would say "Yeah, I'd do her." :)

The "Star whore" sucking tongue with Harrison Ford in the rough cut of the Cantina was of some ill-gotten fame as well I believe.

Her scenes on the CD-ROM are cool BDW.  The whole anchorhead/Biggs thing is something I'd like added to the film in its entirety and in color/clear sound.  Just something cool to expand yet, and show how Luke's character evolves some.

The pre-film T-16 Skyhopper race in the novel would be cool too I think.  Give you an idea how he's so good with an X-Wing immediately.

While the scene adds more depth to the story, it's pretty damn boring. I wouldn't like to see it as a part of the film. If they were to place it on the fourth disc I'd be delighted.

I’d appreciate cut scenes like this one, added to the films, like… 10,000 times more than ridiculous dancing C.G. muppets and extra windows in Cloud City.

Durge, please play nice...

BC seemed relatively clear in his post from my point of view.  He would appreciate added footage that was actually originally shot over the stuff like the Jabba's Musical sequence.

I think both are worthy...  In this day and age of DVD technology, it's so simple to skip a sequence or specific scene that I'd love to see it added.

Of course, idealy, Lucas would've added footage as well as included the originals in one source that you could make the decision to either watch it "classic" style or "Enhanced SE" style.

This is one of those times where I really wish the DVD had an annotated version included as an optional viewing mode. While viewing the film, you’d be able to select an icon and view a deleted scene, then return to the film proper. I’d love to watch ANH, and when Luke mentions Anchorhead to Owen, be able to branch to the deleted scene that fleshed out this comment.

I still also want figures of the whole Anchorhead crew, too. Camie would be great.

I agree that these would make some neat figures, but I'd rather see Owen and Beru first.

It makes you think why Lucas cast a porn star in the movie.  Was he watching one of her masterpieces, rubbing one out, enjoying it so much that he had to cast her as one of the heroes' hometown friends, only to cut her scenes out later?

Now I'm interested in seeing some of her other work to see what Lucas saw in her.
