There was a case like that here a few years ago involving a less hot teacher

And as Josh said at RS...how would we all feel if this was a 14 Year Old Girl and a 23 Year Old Male teacher?  Most of us would be pretty pissed

Oh there's no question that there's a double standard.  Because it's a 14 y/o boy, he's a total stud and should be heralded.  But had it been  a 14 y/o girl, it's a completely different situation - she'd be a victim.

While the teacher is hot no doubt, I can't stand up and cheer the kid on.

One of my favorite high school teachers was accused of having an inapprorpiate relationship with a student about a year after I graduated and left for college.

It must have been true because he killed himself over it.  It was not a fun time - particularly for his son, who went to school with us and who we all knew.

I was thinking about this last night...how bad does this whole incident make the Husband look?  She's not satisfied by him so she goes for a 14 year old...a 14 YEAR OLD!   That guy may never get a date again

2 guys I went to school with were fired or forced to leave/resign from their positions at my local High School (where we all went to school that is) because of relations with students.

Both deserved what they got, and probably more, and this woman deserves some punishment, preferably jailtime under statutory rape laws.  She's been arrested and is being charged in 2 separate places.  The double-standard may only be in public opinion, not in the eyes of the law.

My other point I wanted to make...

Wanna bet she gets a Playboy contract?

Question: even though charges have been filed, has this case been proven?  

Any chance we have a couple of 14 year old dickheads out to ruin someone's teaching career because she wouldn't put out for them?  Kid's have all the power in the world and none of the maturity to manage it.  

She's pretty, goofy at times but is she being railroaded?

It says something to the effect that they had the kid call her in police presence (controlled I believe its called) and ask her

"We've had sex three times now without birth control...is that bad?" She answers back "Well, that should be the least of your worries" Or something

He's also described tatoos and birthmarks on her butt and legs that he wouldn't be seeing in the Classroom.

A Pet Peeve of mine is the whole Press convicting people before the case plays out (Richard Jewell anyone?)   But this one is juicy enough that I'll let it slide, for once
