Let the mad dash for running backs begin, man is that pool ever small !  16 starting running backs are still needed, I'm blown away by how many QBs were taken up until this point.  Everything I've read about drafts has all but 2 or 3 of the NFL's quarterbacks being taken with the QB selections beginning in  round 4 or later.

Is it just me, or are running backs worth almost twice as many points as QBs?  Especially when you consider a rushing TD by an RB worth twice a passing TD by a QB, then figure in the -1's for the interceptions?

Nope...I've used this scoring system for years and the QB's are about on par with all other positions.

Well I think part of the reason it seems so many QB's have been taken is due in part to the huge size of our league. 14 teams is huge for fantasy. Most leagues seem to run in the 6-12 range. So if you don't spend a top 3 pick on a QB here, you might get stuck with crap for your starting QB.

As far as scoring for QBs and RBs, I think it usually evens out over the course of a year. Yes, RBs get twice as many pts for TDs than QBs, but QBs will probably end up with twice as many TDs as RBs do.

Perhaps, but look at the RBs left right now, and 16 need to be on the starting roster.

Yeah, I see what you're saying about the RBs. And that again is due in part to the large size of our league.

A 14 team league is huge.  I never play in leagues bigger than 10 because the talent gets spread far too thin.  This will be interesting.  RBs are always the most valuable in any league I've ever played in and there are fewer quality ones than WRs and QBs.
