I wish everyone would grab a "draft buddy" to send picks to if they aren't going to be around...  :'(

Jeff

Even that's hard because sometimes you change your pick at the last second based on who's picked what.  This is just one of the pitfalls of doing the draft this way.  I've had fun so far though.

That's my difficulty with giving someone my picks for this weekend.  I have to wait through 22 picks after my next one.  That could change a whole lot of things.  I know what I want to do now, but it could all change so easily if the guys I want are gone, it could entirely shift everything :-\

I may give someone my next two picks if I can get round five out of the way, but if we don't get to round five by the time I leave, forget it.  It's just too much risk. Especially because we're in no huge hurry.  Yet.

If it comes down to it where we're like 3 or 4 days away from opening day, we could always set a time (the best possible compromise for everyone) and just all go into the chat room, set a 5 minute timer or something and then pound out the last however many rounds all in one big long shot.

Let's hope now that we all know things are starting to pick up pretty quickly, that people will start checking in more often so we don't have these really long gaps in between picks. And if anyone does know they'll be gone for extended periods of time, like say maybe an entire day or longer, maybe they should pick someone to email a few selections to so at least their very next pick can be made.

Well I promise to get you guys my round 5 pick, regardless of what happens with Chris, but after that, I think I'll be making you wait for round 6 :-[  Sorry.

It would be especially nice if anyone who doesn't work at a computer could do this (cough cough dressel cough cough ;) )

Perhaps he can have the patients log on and make his picks after he sends them out of the office

How about everyone being online Sunday evening?  I'll be back and can get my picks in order pretty quickly then.  Rattle of the tail end of 6, do rounds 7, 8 and part of nine?

I'll be lucky if I get online at all Sunday.  Supposed to go fishin in the morning and then softball at nite.

That would depend entirely on the novocaine dosage.

If everyone but Holo Elvis can do it, maybe he can mail a few rounds worth of picks to someone he trusts...

it's going to be tough to get everyone online all at the same time, regardless of when. i think we still have a fair amount of time left to finish this draft up, so even if it's slow going we should still make it in time.
