$1350 is actually a screaming deal for this unpunched vintage grail, it's just that in this economy I can't justify spending it.

There is a big hole on the bubble. If I'm dumping more than a G on a toy I rather wait and spend more for something I'm not going to regret.

I can certainly understand the possibility for buyer's remorse on this one!  I recently traded some of my own poorer condition carded vintage so as to "trade up" to a really nice mint on card boxed no flap fold vintage 12" Han Solo myself.

Ridiculous...clearly that guy has not been paying attention to other recent auctions for this figure. If that thing was mint and AFA graded he might get that much, but even then it would be a stretch.

$300 is closer to the right price range for this thing right now.

There were 21 bids so he's not the only one wanting that thing.

I think it's official.  I'm never going to own one of these.  A few years ago they were $300 and I thought that was insane.  $711 for a cape?  No thanks.

I'm thinking the same thing Rob.  The price for this guy has really been climbing steadily the last year.

I think it's official.  I'm never going to own one of these.

I went the repro-cape route a long time ago.  Sure it's not "legit", but $4 for a repro cape and $5 for a minty loose Jawa was much better for my budget than $300-800 for the real deal. :P

Hmm.  I paid about $150 for mine.  If they're going for that much, it just might be time to sell it.

It's been fascinating to watch the prices of vintage stuff just continually increase, at least for most things not ROTJ (I blame the ewoks) to the point where I can see my carded collection dwindling quite quickly.  I'll just never finish out the 12 backs, plain and simple.

PM me.  ;)

I gotta have the legit one...I have passed on a couple the past year and regretted it. It's one of the only variants left on my List.

I'm glad I got mine when I did (last year).  The last couple years while the economy has been poor has been a boon for vintage collectors.
