It has ended at a whopping $50,099.00.  Not bad for an auction which had a bin before of 25k! Oy!

WOW.  I just can't even imagine that.

You couldn't get a 500 square foot studio around here for that. :)

There aren't too many cities I can work in and Chicago is worth the price.

Too many arrest warrants in the other big cities?

Man... that Chicago stereotype is completely valid, but only for certain areas.  Go too far south, too far south west and you're ******.  Live up by me and it's yuppies and Cubs fans.   It's expensive, but my neighborhood, and most of the north side, is completely safe.

Yuppies and Cub fans?  Think I will stick with the South Side. :)

Just thought I'd post this if anyone is interested. I know if I hadn't bought one semi recently I'd have jumped on this one. Sounds like it has a couple issues and isn't complete, but a great price for a "starter" one.

This may just be me talking to myself, but why are people fighting over this for $177 (and rising)? My AFA graded carded one was $40 less than that. No one else may care, but it made me feel good to "post" my confusion.

If you got a carded Fromm for less than $200, you just got a great deal is all! (congrats)

This is about in line with what I would expect, maybe a little pricier given that he is not complete.

If you look at completed auction for loose ones, they generally sell right around $170 - $175.  This one's at $177 with 20 minutes to go.  It probably won't move much higher if it does at all.
