One week from Saturday, on September 4th it will all begin again

South Carolina versus Vanderbilt in Nashville TN.

Place your bets now, the 'Cocks or the Vanderbilt hicks? No question USC is going to win, the question is just by how much?

Whew has Alabama had a rough time with the coach changes and the stupid NCAA penalties and all that jazz... Finally we get to watch some ball.

With that said, I'm looking forward to seeing Alabama beat the crap out of Utah St. tonight!

Predicted score -

Alabama: 28 Utah St.: 7

ps. Gamecocks better enjoy their free win against Vandy, cause Crimson Tide is going to erase them...  :-*

Love to see UCLA do crappy.  FOUR turnovers and 2 late picks that totally killed an opportunity of getting back in it.  Now just waiting for Nebraska's first game and USC's next one.

Yeah, we sucked today.  Bad.  Ain't gonna elaborate beyond that though...  Gonna be a long season.   :-\

It may be a short one for Dorrell.  At least now I can talk some smack to most of my buddies who are UCLA fans.  My grandfather is a huge Bruins fan (he used to live so close to the Rose Bowl that he'd walk to the games) but I root for SC because my dad went there and most of my family, on both sides, is from Nebraska so the Huskers get love too.

Predicted score -
Alabama: 28 Utah St.: 7

Final score -
Alabama: 48 Utah St.: 17

 :-*

As for the rest of Alabama's schedule...

Sep 11 vs Mississippi 9:00 PM
Sep 18 vs Western Carolina 7:00 PM
Sep 25 at Arkansas TBA
Oct 2 vs South Carolina TBA
Oct 9 at Kentucky 7:00 PM
Oct 16 vs Southern Miss 3:00 PM
Oct 23 at Tennessee TBA
Nov 6 vs Mississippi St. TBA
Nov 13 at LSU TBA
Nov 20 vs Auburn TBA

I'm gonna predict a fairly optimistic 8-3 season, expecting to Alabama to lose to Kentucky, Tennessee, and LSU. Realistically Alabama will probably be more around 6-5, as the defense is crap this season and it's highly possible the Tide will not be able to beat Auburn.  :-\ *Fingers crossed for 8-3!*

Carolina's schedule:

Sept. 11 Georgia- Loss, but here's hoping for a good game! Yeah, because last year we played so well against them... ::)

Sept. 18 South Florida- Win, who's ever heard of them anyway? Besides we need a victory after Georgia

Sept. 25 Troy State- Again I ask who? Since I know nothing about this program, I'll call it a win.

Oct. 2 at Alabama- Win, but it'll be a good game.

Oct. 9 Mississippi- Loss, I just have a feeling we're going to lose to them...

Oct. 16 at Kentucky- Win, but a near loss I feel

Oct. 30 Tennessee- Loss, no question

Nov. 6 Arkansas- Win, it's Arkansas for christs sake!

Nov. 13 at Florida- Tah! Loss, but if we play like last year then...maybe I'll get a birthday suprise, eh?

Nov. 20 at Clemson- Win, send those farmers back to the feilds!

So, that'd mean a 7-4 season this year! Pretty good I think...well for Carolina anyway.

No way. It will be a good game, but there's no way Alabama will lose.  >:(

I watched the Golden Gophers crush Toledo on Saturday night, 704 total yards of Offense with 3rd Stringers in for most of the 2nd Half.  I love this team, and I am very glad to see a real college football program in Minnesota again.  Its been a long 40 years :-X

I forsee 5-0 heading into Michigan where they will surprise and finally get some national recognition...

WE HAVE NO OFFENSE!

20-16 Georgia, thanks to our lack of offense Georgia was able to come back from the 16-9 game to beat us 20-16!

A close and exciting game, we really gave Georgia a run!

Oh and it should be noted how much our offense sucks...Defense out scored them 9-7...so, is that a testiment to how great our defense is, or how bad our offense is?
